Hi everyone, sorry it's been so long since I've posted, I've been busy with university but I'm hoping to start this group soon and I'm wondering how many people would be interested. For the first session I'm thinking we could meet at a park so the children can play and families can get to know each other but if you have any other suggestions that would be great. Thank you to everyone who has liked or commented. I want to give an update and to answer some of the questions people have had. There isn't a specific age range, the activities are likely to appeal most to primary, however parents and carers can decide if they think it would be appropriate for their child. We are hoping to meet up at places like parks, farms, soft play etc. We are planning and gathering interest and will be arranging sessions through the closed Facebook group.

Wildflowers is a group dedicated to empowering and supporting young autistic girls to unmask, make friends and accept their vibrant and unique selves. We will run various fun activities to build connections between autistic children, adults and parents. We aim to create a space where young girls can meet others like them and feel included and valued.
