Your ride or die, your loyal protector.
Your safe place.
The one you can always depend on.
The one you can rely on to keep you safe.
The part of you that never fails to step in.
Your best mate. Your certainty queen. 🙌
Your anxiety is coming from a loving place, a protective place. It uses loads of energy to keep you hypervigilant and on the look out for big scary things.
But.... when we are overdoing it, everything feels like a big scary thing.
Everything in your body gets the whole all singing, all dancing alarm signal that s**t is about to go down. Even when it isn't.
The most powerful thing you can do for your mind is to build a different relationship with your anxiety, to understand it and manage it. To rewrite what you have been told. To stop pushing it away and instead reframe... "anxiety thanks for stepping in but I don't need you right now... I'm doing food shopping, not being chased by a bear. I've got this"
Through small steps and repeated action, you can change those negative vibes into positive ones and find a little hope where there didn't seem to be any.
From small acorns grow mighty oaks.
