A little snippet from the past few weeks 🌿
Spending time outdoors, moving more, and soaking up some much-needed calm.

It reminded me how much our nervous system loves nature, rest, and gentle movement – the same things I often talk about in clinic too 🙌

Back soon with more tips and stretches, but for now, here’s a picture of me exploring this wonderful gorge!

Trimester 2 — the “golden middle” of pregnancy… but it doesn’t always feel that way, right? 😅

Your energy might be back, your bump is growing, and things are getting real.
But behind the scenes, your body is adapting fast — and sometimes, it needs a little help.

💫 Posture starts to shift
💥 Pressure builds in your pelvis + lower back
🦴 Sciatica, SPD, tight hips — all common
🫁 Breathing might feel shallower
😴 And yes… sleep can take a hit too

As an osteopath, I see these changes early — even when they’re subtle.
My treatments are gentle, safe for pregnancy, and aimed at helping your body move and feel better as baby grows. 💛

You don’t have to wait for pain to seek support —
Osteopathy is here to keep you feeling balanced, mobile, and more comfortable through it all. 🤰

When your cousin travels 4,000 miles from Canada… and ends up on your treatment table Sofa in this case.

Yep — this one flew across the world (not just for me… but still!). After years of recurring issues — from hamstring pain and pelvic misalignment to foot cramps and even a sports hernia — we finally got the chance to do a proper hands-on session after long.

It all started back in school with persistent hamstring issues. After digging deeper, we found the root cause: a misaligned pelvis. His hamstrings were weak and overcompensating for the imbalance – cue recurring pain and frustration. We focused on realigning the pelvis and building hamstring strength, and that gave him some relief… for a while.

A few years later, new symptoms crept in – intense foot cramps, even when just sitting on the sofa. We discovered one foot had a higher arch than the other, which caused uneven load and further compensations. He tried insoles, but his body took a while to adapt.

He’s based in Canada, so I haven’t always been able to treat him in person – but we’ve stayed in touch constantly. I’ve tried to guide him through the process remotely, and his physio for manual therapy there has done a great job too.

Recently, a hamstring pull during football reminded him (and me!) that ongoing care and load management are key.

The takeaway?
The body is deeply interconnected – one issue can snowball into others if not addressed properly. Don’t ignore those early niggles – listen to your body and seek help before compensation patterns take over.

Have you had recurring injuries that just never seem to go away? Drop them below or DM – your body deserves a deeper look.

♥️ Today I had the honour of speaking to a group of parents through Koala Northwest .northwest — we covered everything from birth impact on babies, reflux and colic, to tummy time and gentle baby stretches. (Or at least tried to as much as I could 🙈)

It’s always a privilege to play even a small part in supporting families through those early stages — to share insights into how a baby’s journey into the world can shape their development, and how osteopathy can gently support and guide them along the way.
Thank you so much for having me!

Osteopathy: For Every Body — And Every Family” 🌿
👶🏽👦🏻🧑🏾‍🤝‍🧑🏼💛

Swipe to see how one family all walked out feeling better.

Because pain and tension don’t discriminate by age, and neither does osteopathy. Whether it’s colic, growing pains, stress, posture issues, or that nagging shoulder pain — osteopathy can support your body through every stage of life.
