We were absolutely delighted to welcome Highfield Hall School Year 6 into Ashcroft Care Home Activities for a truly special visit ❤️🎶

The children filled our home with beautiful carol singing and then spent time chatting with our residents, sharing smiles, stories, and plenty of laughter. It was so heart-warming to see the connections formed, with residents reminiscing, asking questions, and thoroughly enjoying the wonderful energy the children brought with them.

Moments like these mean a great deal to everyone here. Our residents loved every minute of the visit, and it was a joy to see intergenerational friendships blossom, creating memories that will be treasured by all. Thank you to Highfield Hall School for such a lovely and meaningful visit 💛

Creativity, laughter, and friendship filled the room as some of our residents made wreaths for their bedroom doors 🌼
Everyone fully enjoyed taking part, encouraging one another, sharing jokes, and having a good laugh together. Such a joy to see the Ashcroft community spirit shining through 💛

What a wonderfully festive week it's been at Ashcroft Care Home Activities! 🥳

​The highlight, though, was our activity of designing our own Christmas baubles! As you can see from the photos, our residents absolutely loved letting their creativity shine! ✨ Afterwards, we proudly hung them on our lounge Christmas tree, adding a truly personal and heartwarming touch. ❤️

☕ A Spot of Tea and Laughter at Ashcroft Care Home Activities! 🤣

​Afternoon Tea alert! 🚨 Our wonderful residents absolutely loved their treat today! Forget the Queen's Guard; the real royalty is here, sipping tea and mastering the art of the perfect scone. 👑 We're pretty sure the giggles per minute were off the charts! 😉

🐾 DOG THERAPY DAY at Ashcroft! 🐶💛
Yesterday we had a VERY special visitor… our new furry therapist named FRUIT 🍎🍌🍇 (yes… that’s really his name, and yes… we are obsessed 😍).

Our residents absolutely loved him — so many smiles, cuddles, and “Can we keep him?” comments 😄💗 Honestly, it humbled me seeing how much joy one fluffy little sweetheart can sprinkle around a room!

And to top it all off, we ended the day with some truly awful dad jokes in the downstairs lounge 🤣🫣 They were horrendous… which obviously made them even better. The giggles were nonstop!

We’re already hoping Fruit comes back soon — the residents have definitely claimed him as our new therapy dog 🥰🐾

“Pamper Day arrived at Ashcroft Care Home Activities this Wednesday… and oh yes, it was luxury with a capital L! 💅💦
Warm hand soaks, neatly trimmed and shaped nails, and glam polish for the bold ones 😄✨
“Our hand massage left everyone feeling warm, relaxed, and totally blissed out 💖🙌

We loved seeing the lovely smiles on our lovely residents — absolutely priceless! 😁🤍
Everyone left feeling relaxed, pampered, and just a little bit posh. 😉✨
