Arthur turns 5 ~ 🦖 🦕

Jurassic Park themed cookies for Arthur’s 5th birthday 🦖 🍪
I almost forgot to post these, as I’m not taking orders at the moment due to working too many hours and with life being so hectic too, the struggle is real 🙈 🤍🤍

However, I really loved making this set for Arthur’s 5th birthday party, and they were all gluten free as usual *ROARRR* 🦖 🦕 🤍🤍

⁣My beautiful daughter had the most amazing baby shower last Sunday 👶 & my best baking partner, Harlow Beau helped me to design the cutest neutral cake & cookies, deliciously gluten free ~ all made during some of the hottest summer days 😰🥵 what a challenge of my patience and Swiss meringue buttercream ☀🔥🤪⠀

I’m a bit late posting this little yet extremely challenging cake ~ because I’ve been on annual leave & decorating the house in a sweltering heatwave 😰🥵 ⠀
⠀
Unfortunately the original design of a half and half cake had to be scrapped due to the weather conditions! ☀🔥 resulting in a simple yet elegant joint birthday cake for a Nan & Grandson 🎂 gluten free 6” with 4 layers of vanilla sponge & white chocolate buttercream.⠀

Honestly though, I could have cried (I did a bit 😂🤣) trying to make this during a very hot and humid few days ~ I couldn’t get the buttercream right as it kept melting so bad & the piping literally kept sliding down the sides of the cake 🙈 the only cool place in my house was the fridge, where it was kept in between steps, but you can’t decorate a cake in a fridge can you 🤪😜 ⠀

Anyway by the smiles on their little faces I think it was liked and appreciated in the end 😬 😂

⁣Pretty pastel blue sugar cookies for Louise’s birthday 🎁 these are gluten free ~ and you wouldn’t know the difference 😋 ⠀

We don’t have to go without because we can’t eat gluten! In my (& many others) opinion GF bakes are equally as delicious as those made for muggles 🙌🏻 😋 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⁣Harlow Beau turns 4 💫🌟⭐✨🤩⠀
Frozen themed cookies, cake pops & birthday cake for the most beautiful little birthday girl 💝 (forgot to get photo’s of the cake pops 🙈) ⠀

The cake is 6” double barrelled, gluten free, vanilla sponge cake. covered in ganache & swiss meringue buttercream. ⠀

Cookies are vanilla sugar cookies, iced in fondant, & flavoured with bubble gum flavouring (a big hit with the little ones) ⠀
