🎾🎶 Intergenerational Joy at The Green Care Home 🎶🎾

What a heartwarming morning at The Green Care Home in Hasland! We were joined by a fantastic class from Hasland Junior School, who filled the garden with smiles and ABBA songs that had everyone singing along. 🎤💃🕺

I set up some fun and inclusive team games that brought both the residents and students together:
✔️ Tennis hitting
✔️ Parachute games
✔️ Bean bag target throwing

These moments weren’t just about having fun (though there was plenty of that!) — they built real connections.
💬 Residents felt energised, valued, and uplifted.
👫 Students gained empathy, confidence, and a new appreciation for community.

It’s proof that when generations come together, something truly special happens. 💚
