Happy Valentine’s Day Timbo ❤️

We definitely share our love.

Tim has embraced more yogi’s and retreat guests than I can count —
and I love him even more for it.

Because love doesn’t shrink when it’s shared.
It grows.

In a house surrounded by women (even the dog… apart from Jester 😄),
thank you for walking beside me in a life where our love spills outwards instead of folding in.

Timbo has 12 wives and 30 camels…you know who you are!

Some days, joy doesn’t arrive on its own.
I have to create the space first.
Space to breathe.
Space to soften.
Space to harmonise with whatever is really here — the mess, the tiredness, the beauty, the uncertainty.

It was my teacher who taught me a mantra I live by.
Every single day she would say:
“Today is the most beautiful day of my life.”

I say it too.
Every morning, before anything else.
And somehow… it becomes true.
Not because everything is perfect — but because I’ve chosen how I meet the day.

When I find that space first, joy follows more easily.
Then I can see the miracle of today.
Then every day feels like a celebration.

I love baking (and eating)a cake — and honestly, every day is a cake day 🍰
Maybe that’s why I’ve surrounded myself with this beautiful community
Banana bread days.
Blessed banana bread days.
Celebrating one another.
Because every day is worth celebrating.

I hope you can decipher my crazy, swirly writing ✍️💫
I shared this beautiful Buddhist reading at the end of our practices this morning — a passage gifted to me in a little book I picked up while travelling through Sri Lanka last year. So many of you asked for it, so here it is with love. ❤️

Life is very patient with us. It keeps redirecting us until we listen.

What an incredible sunrise we shared — a golden reminder that every day is an invitation to begin again. And with the new moon arriving, we’re offered the perfect moment to start this next cycle afresh.

As far as I can see, everyone is a bright and brilliant light. ✨ Yoga has helped me notice that more clearly, and along the way it’s brought me into contact with some blinding lights who don’t even realise how incredible they are. One of those is the absolute legend Glyn Johns — the genius behind the sound of The Beatles, The Eagles, Eric Clapton (and that’s just for starters!).

I adore teaching Glyn, and he has so many stories to tell. I’d love you all to hear them! If you love music, are curious about the icons, and fancy asking a few questions to the man who’s seen it all across 60 years in the industry, then please join us in the Cowshed on Wednesday 24th September, 6.30pm. You can also zoom in if you’re not local.
