A message from Winston… I just wanted to update you personally on my medical journey which has been a tough and long few months. The original operation did not go to plan and left me with severe nerve damage in my arm. I have had 2 further operations to try to get me out of pain and try to allow me to use my arm again but the rehabilitation is going to be long. I will not be back to work for at least 6 months at the earliest. It is a very hard pill to swallow after building my practice up over 21 yrs and having such loyal patients and horse clients. It has been incredibly hard mentally and physically but I am now feeling more positive and trying my hardest to do as much rehab as possible and hope I will be able to return to work.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has sent there best wishes for my recovery. I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has continued having there horses treated by Gemma and Matt and been seen by Claire in clinic. This means a lot to me and helps me try and keep the practice running while I am off so thank you to everyone. I also wanted to thank Kate, Gemma, Matt and Claire for doing such a great job at keeping the show running.

I will in the next few weeks try and come out on some of the horse visits and will continue being in clinic with Claire. Please keep up with your appointment as it helps me out and ensures your backs and horses backs are kept on top form!!

Following an exceptionally busy first month as part of the South West Chiropractic team, Claire Wyatt is now able to accept new patients in human clinic from the beginning of April.

⭐️Exciting News⭐️

We are pleased to be welcoming new associate Claire Wyatt to the South West chiropractic team. Claire will be working in human clinic at both Chippenham and Avebury with Winston overseeing her while he is recovering. Claire’s first day will be on the 17th February. Winston’s recovery update.

Sadly Winston’s first surgery had complications which has left him with severe nerve damage. He is undergoing a further surgery at the end of January but this does mean we are unsure of his return date. Matt Kenna and Gemma Graham will be covering his equine work for the time being. We are currently looking for locum for human clinic. Please be assured you will all be contacted by Kate in the mean time to let you know the plan with either your horses or yourselves. Please just bare with us 🙏

Winston is due to have an operation on the 30th October so please if you want an appointment for yourself or your horse please try to be organised as it will be busy upto then. He will then be off work for 3 months and back to work on the 19th January.

A sad day as I say goodbye to Sally. She has been working for South West Chiropractic for 5 yrs and now is time for her to focus on other things so good luck and thank you for all your hard work and putting up with me!!

I am excited to welcome Kate who starts from today. Hopefully she will be able to cope with trying to organise Winston’s life!!

* JOB VACANCY *

Sadly my current virtual secretary/ Wonder Woman is moving on due to family/work commitments so am looking for someone to take over.

The role involves 20-30 hours per month. Answering phone calls messsges and e mails daily. It also involves weekly organisation of routes for visits and weekly clinics.
