These shoes just might change your life!

Lately, some clients have been bringing in their purchases to show me and check sizing. 😃

The brilliant thing about barefoot shoes is the options for sizing and fit.👍

This particular model causes a lot of excitement 🤩 so lots of swapping and trying on happens after class.

I first tried some on when I was sitting next to at the TFC SoleMate Guide training and people now stop me to ask me where I bought them and what brand they are!

This client brought them in to ask about the larger volume toe box and if it would rub on the toes with wear.

My answer was that after some regular use they have softened up really nicely and they are now my go-to shoe for daily use. 👍😎

Another client tried hers on for the first time in the studio and noticeably walked taller and with more confidence and trust in her foundation. This makes me feel so happy 😁

When you can feel the ground, your whole body pays more attention - more presence with every step and better balance because you can feel where you are.

Organised by my fellow swimming and walking enthusiast

Hosted by Angus and Annabel at , handily positioned between the ancient New Forest and the nearby Hampshire coast.

I will be guiding morning and evening sessions to prime you for a day of adventure and wind you down for a night of nourishing rest.

Head out during the day for a walk in the woods, enjoy a guided sea swim with Sea Swim coach Angus .

Sunset and jet lag 🌅 🥴

A friend suggested I try and stay awake to be able to watch the sun go down to help adjust to the NZ time one.

Fortunately my hotel room has the perfect view, so I enjoyed the sunset from my bed! 🛌

Managed to get 9 hours and feel a bit more human now after some movement practice🧘

Very glad I brought my travel mat - this is going on the Travel Essentials list📋

I’m totally appreciating the southern hemisphere light and skies 🧡

And the views from the loo 🚽 🤩

Today I start the next part of the trip.

I’ve been invited to be guest teacher in a private location for the next 2 weeks, so not sure how much I can post, but am feeling excited and up for this new experience!

Totally taking me out of my comfort zone.

Is an awesome start to a new decade (I recently turned 50 🎂)

Here’s to trying new things, feeling the fear and doing it anyway!

I’m about to go on a new adventure …🌍

I’m trying something new for the long haul flight ✈️

Packing my SoleMate in my hand luggage for some feet, legs, hips and balance time in between flights.

Just need to find a quiet corner 🤔

Got the Yoga Tuneup balls for self massage wherever I can find a wall and the Coregeous ball for some in-flight neck massage.

I’ve rolled up the very handy extra thin and lightweight Yogamatters travel mat for more stretching in between flights and when I get to my destination.

Aiming to vary my positions as much as possible while in board 💺 and cycle thru the alphabet with my ankles a million times 😁

So many adaptors 😆

I’m also taking my new snazzy flask because I reckon herbal tea might be a good move 🤔

Had a fab weekend walking up hills with

Lots of footwear and insole swapping happened.

Some tool exploration in the kitchen and some fun in the studio.

So lovely to hang out with a fellow teacher and foot and barefoot shoe enthusiast. 🦵 🦶

Hills were climbed, minds, hearts, lungs, feet, hips and legs were stretched!

PS Loved trying the rain boots and the socks, plus some foot shaped cork insoles and some groovy will socks with built in gators.

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting some of the amazing people who do incredible work in women’s health and movement.

It was wonderful to celebrate the book publication of my wonderful friend, colleague and long time mentor Dinah

Dinah has written a fantastic book that is a much needed resource for Pilates and movement teachers working with women experiencing the menopause the transition. I have learned so much from Dinah and her open hearted approach has hugely influenced my teaching career and my work with clients over the past 20 years.

It was an absolute privilege to be invited to be a contributor and share my experience of hysterectomy as a movement teacher. It’s not every day you get asked to write something for an ACTUAL book!

It was also a great pleasure to meet Rebekah Rotstein buffbones bone health and movement expert and is known for her teacher training programme specialising in working with osteoporosis.

I also had a fab chat with Dr Katy Munro who offers life changing service for women suffering with migraine.

I enjoyed meeting Wendy from .movement sharing the behind the scenes experiences of teaching movement online and in person and what it’s like wearing all the hats!

Beautiful food by the incredibly passionate nutritionist Emma Ellice Flint - delicious chocolate chia treats at the end!
littlewood you and your mate did a fabulous job sharing all the tasty treats 😉

The event was hosted by the truly inspiring at - I really look forward to what comes next in this amazing space.

What an incredible community of women! 😍
