Does Lip Filler treatment hurt?

Lip fillers are a cosmetic procedure designed to enhance the fullness of the lips. While the procedure is relatively quick and non-invasive, it is not pain-free. You may feel some discomfort during the injection process, which typically lasts only a few minutes.

The level of pain experienced can vary depending on the individual's pain tolerance and the amount of filler being injected.

To minimise discomfort, we can apply a numbing cream to the lips before the procedure.

After the procedure, you may experience some swelling, redness, and tenderness in the lips for a few days. However, these symptoms are generally mild and can be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers and ice packs.

I have heard of Profhilo, but what actually is it?

We have had an amazing 1st year building up the buisness, starting with nothing and building it to where it is now. It all wouldnโ€™t of been possible without my business partner Nicole. Sheโ€™s dedicated, hard working and full of exciting new ideas.

Nicole and I met a couple of years ago teaching for another Aesthetics Academy and immediately got along. We finally took the plunge and opened up our own Clinic and Academy putting our knowledge and experience to together. Starting with teaching 1-1 to give the best start to our students.

What Is A Thread Lift?
Thread lifts give you all the benefits of bringing back the tight, youthful face and neck that you once had without all the hassle of surgery.

The most visible signs of aging occur around our mid face / jowl area and necks. Our facial structure is made up of fat pads that is supported by the elasticity of the skin and your bone structure. As we age, we being to lose the plump facial fat and bone density we once had. The loss of fat and bone density leads to weakening skin resulting in sagging around the eyes, cheeks, eyebrows, jowls and of course our necks.

Thread Lifts are a technique used to correct facial drooping by creating an instant lift to tighten loose skin around the face and neck line. Thread Lifts are an excellent way for our clients to delay extensive surgical procedures.

Clients usually see a noticeable tightening and lifting effect immediately after the PDO Thread Lift procedure, however, that the finalized results will be seen after two to three months as the new collagen stimulation begins.

It takes around 6 months for the PDO threads to begin fully dissolving but the results can last for approximately two years as long as the collagen of your skin holds the lift.
