This kind of winter morning I can get on board with ❄️

I set my alarm early this morning to catch the sunrise at our local hill. I underestimated how long it would take me to walk up there with Floss and Curly stopping to sniff everything. We we’re late.. the views were still pretty amazing though.

It’s my birthday next week, I’ve never been someone who celebrates big infact I’ve not had a birthday party since I was a child. So naturally I’ve opted for a weekend away in the van, destination to be confirmed but mountain views are a must ⛰️

Flossie, my precious girl. I still cannot fathom how this sweet soul was on the streets in Bulgaria trying to fend for herself not that long ago. My heart hurts thinking about it.

Feel grateful daily to have the possibility to give her and Curly a loving home they both deserve 🤎

this time of the year always feel like I’m waking on a tightrope.. maybe it’s the weather and shorter days that throws me off but this year I’m actually enjoying a slower pace and focusing on myself 🤎
