💗✨The Self Wellness Workshop Series ✨💗

I can feel the air change to Christmas diets, f*ck it mindset, diet clubs dusting off their marketing plans for when your guilt and shame kicks in circa 30th December.

Instead I want you to have to tools to not go back on the merry go round and start loving yourself, and taking care of yourself. You can reach your goals to feel healthier, happier, confident, without focusing on a number on a scale. It is the self work you have to do that the clubs don’t teach you, they don’t want you to know.

Created with care to support you with winter wellness and build your self worth, self care, mindset and set your goals for 2023!

These will be delivered online, recorded for you to watch at your own pace if preferred. You will be given a Wellness Tools Guide that shared the tools you will hear, keep it for life and turn to it as a reminder to come back to yourself.

Feeling at a crossroads? Don’t know which path to take? Where you are going? I feel ya 🙋🏻‍♀️

I was getting close to burnout a few weeks ago, feeling overwhelmed and not quite myself. If I could have packed a bag and gone to Bali for a retreat I would have but I made the most of what’s on my doorstep.

NATURE! I got out for walks with friends, by myself, seaside dips 🏊‍♀️ and most importantly I connected back to myself.

I practiced what I preach, I went through my wellness wheel and asked what do I need to do?! A lot of it was connecting back to my roots, meditating, journaling and being kind to myself.

The space I gave myself was wholesome! It was just what I needed without a flight ✈️ 🤣🙈

I learned I am working really hard and I’m loving it but I have been underestimating myself, my capabilities and the value I add.

Now I have had that moment 💡 I am doing something about it! I’m finding a mentor to help me move forward to have confidence to take on the next step and lastly to be PATIENT!!!! That I am sowing the seeds and to enjoy the process now that it will all pay off!

Sunday Night Reminder ✨

Before the dread kicks in, the worry of going back to work, the people you meet and work with, even friends.

No one is YOU and that is your super power! 🦸🏽‍♀️

People will copy you, people will shout louder, but don’t let it dim your light and super power. You are needed, you are unique, the right people will hear you. Find your own way and let go of people who dim your light ✨

Apart of our whole wellness is ‘Environment’ and for me this includes the people you give your energy too. If not in person, mentally, the mental space you let them take up in your head as you over think, beat yourself up and get upset.

Let those people be, create boundaries and build your own self worth.

Create your environment filled with habits and people that make you feel good! 💖

Trusting the timing that everything is going to work out, a little like taking photos and hoping everyone is looking at the camera, with their eyes open and the perfect lighting all at the same time…you don’t always get it right the first time ❤️

During the Mercury retrograde I definitely felt the push and pull of what I wanted to achieve verses what was meant for me, being stopped to really go deep and the last few weeks I’ve had this calling to ‘let go of the story you’re telling yourself and re-write it’. Now we are out of one retrograde and into Saturn retrograde it’s time to take ACTION. Weird how literally the day after this I felt the kick up the bum to do what I have wanted to do but felt this force stopping myself… I can’t quite explain it, not even to understand it fully myself. It’s been a challenging few months but I’m ready to breakthrough this next chapter of self: healing, acceptance and love ❤️

If you have felt this pull and push internally too, a little struggle of where you want to be but not getting their, I feel ya 🙌🏻 Trust it is all going to come good, trust yourself ❤️

I always tell clients, self love is a journey not a destination. We are always a work in progress, life will always through a curveball which will make us dig a little deeper and heal a little more, even when we thought we had nailed it 🙃❤️

Your Monday reminder to: PUT THE GOOD IN YOUR DAY!

No matter what is going on, ask yourself what do you need to be kind to yourself night now? What do you need to feel better? What do you need to just keep going and get through today…to stay strong?

Here are some of the things I do…

🌸 Go for a walk
🌸 Breath work, breathing in and out tracing my finger (usually done sat on a bench in the fresh air)
🌸Ring/text a friend or FaceTime nephews
🌸Go for a swim
🌸Put something on the that is easy to watch or will make me laugh …or both (usually friends!)
🌸Buy myself flowers

Stop beating yourself up and celebrate you!

Here’s me and my 1 mile open water swimming badge! After I put all my own limiting beliefs to the side and focused on what I wanted to do! To feel good! To swim in lakes, rivers, sea - yet to do!

What is the kindest thing you can do for yourself?

What do you want to do and what is the story your telling yourself to stop you?

Healing my body image and relationship with exercise is an ongoing process, the one thing I wanted to do as swimming. To tell myself I didn’t need to lose weight or hit the gym everyday to get to enjoy swimming!

What I love about the open water swimming communities is it’s full of different people, different ages, different body shapes and everyone is at their own level and you don’t need to be ‘shredded’ to put on a swimming costume and go in the water! Seeing other people do it allows me to give myself a break from the negative monkey on my shoulder. Each time I get out the water I realise my body shape didn’t matter the whole time I was in that water, I enjoyed myself and I made new friends!

Looking at this picture reminds me every time I feel like hiding away, that my body did that! I did that! I achieved my 1 mile swim regardless of what my body size is!

I wanted to go wild swimming, I wanted to feel good. I took charge of my own limiting beliefs and ripped the bandaid off. The first time is the hardest, then you will wonder why you never did it sooner!

Self Love for me, is coming home to yourself 💗

Sometimes we get lost in our identity by trying to be everything to everyone in lots of different ways. That it can be so exhausting you lose yourself.
I have taken lots of time away from posting regularly as many will have seen as they reach out to ask if I am okay. And I am thank you.
I felt a lot of pressure to post daily, post wisdom, post reels to get the views and stats and it became mentally exhausting.
I have even played around with my ‘name’ and all of this has been on my path of coming home to myself and why I started this page 5 years ago.

I was in the middle of a self image crisis having done a body transformation and still not feeling good enough. I was on my real self love journey, having the epiphany that I wanted to share that being ‘skinny’ did not mean all your dreams and happy endings come true. It was all a bit of a con, it all comes from inside - truly a lesson we will always need reminding of.

So I am taking this account back to its roots. My roots, I am not here to have the perfectly branded post, following all the brand management tips, or to sell coaching with me. I didn’t start this for any of that.

I am here to share my story, what I have learned on self love (and continue to do) and share any hints or tips I have now as a wellness coach. I wanted to help show people that you can achieve happiness and success by being yourself. First, it all starts with learning to like yourself and letting go of fitting in. Embrace your quirks or what you like to do not what the ‘crowd’ is.

Learning to take care of you with small wellness steps so you can build self care up to self acceptance and self love.
Something which is true to me and my journey.
Let’s f*** it and just have some honest chats, posts and some fun hey?!
Life is too short to be taking this ‘social media’ thing all too seriously. Life happens away from here. Self love happens away from here.
Learn to come home to yourself and be happy 💗

You don’t need an excuse or reason, other than you need to take care of you and give yourself what you need 💝

This week, I’ve needed to rest, I’ve needed to journal and process feelings. It’s been cathartic and just what I needed. I gave myself permission to stop.
