J & M Holland Consulting Ltd was incorporated on the 22nd November 2004. The founder John Holland was presented with the opportunity, during the autumn of 2004, to start his own company following a long and successful career with one of the worlds leading International Suppliers of Catering and Support Services. With over 32 years experience in supplying services to Business and Industry, Commerce, Education, Healthcare and the MOD, as well as operating various commercial ventures. Most of this activity took place within the UK and Eire, but some work was undertaken in the USA and Australia. Profile: A self-motivated and highly professional Change Transformation Manager and Business Analyst with experience as a Commercial Manager, with in excess of thirty years engagement in both Industry and Commerce. Proven leadership and people management skills and the ability to develop and motivate teams into achieving their objectives and adding shareholder value. Has demonstrated exceptional analytical and problem solving competence with organisational skills and the ability to deploy lateral thinking to produce strategic and tactical solutions. UK Security Checked (SC) and Counter Terrorist Checked (CTC), (for working on an “X” rated site). Has excellent communications ability and able to present technical and non-technical information to all staff levels, customers and board members. First class knowledge and an established track record on high profile projects for a number of well-known organisations on a national and international level. Experienced in Prince 2 and Six Sigma project lifecycle management including, formulation of detailed analysis and change requirements, generation of full project documentation, identification and optimum utilisation of resources, internal and external audit management and provision of post implementation user support. Created and implemented financial planning, budgets and forecasts demonstrated through an outstanding record of achievement and success. Successfully managed demanding workloads within strict time constraints and budgets. Demonstrated decision making capabilities through varied casework assessments. Significant experience in MBOs, Acquisitions, Mergers and Securitisation. Key Career Achievements: Successfully introduced Business, System and Process Change following acquisition, MBOs, mergers, takeovers, corporate directives, contractual and fiscal requirements. Implementing SAP Accounts Receivable as part of the Best Finance project. Completed the management and development of the Hyperion Planning and Essbase Project for Budgeting and Forecasting within aggressive timelines. Qualified as an ADR Group Accredited Mediator. Reduced the over 90-day dept by 75% by producing and tailoring a training and procedural manual for all staff levels. Instrumental in forecasting the working capital and cash flow requirements for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games by leading an Australian working capital project, to investigate, identify and establish the systems and procedures. Major Project Accomplishments Include: April 2008 – October 2009, Client BAE Submarine Solutions, CVF Business Improvement and Project Manager. Working with the Aircraft Carrier Association (ACA), Carrier Vessel Future (CVF) project team supporting areas of Business Improvement and challenging the projects readiness status, including project planning, change management, process mapping and process improvement. Introducing a greater project discipline, governance and accountability as part of the preparation to enter the manufacturing phase. Instituted visual management reporting. Organised and facilitated meetings and workshop with BVT (N) and other Sub Alliance Partners, ensuring the relationships became established and matured into one of a Strategic Partnership. Helped to influence changes to the underlying behaviour traits in within the project team. December 2007 – March 2008, Client, ADR Group, Mediator. April 2007 – November 2007, Client, Xchanging HR Services, Process Change Analyst. Worked with the project implementation team supporting the areas of business process re-engineering, change management, process mapping, system design and process improvement. Introduced and enhanced a new CPC payment system which supported the order to cash process used as part of the contractual engagement with BAE Systems. March 2005 – March 2007, Client, AXA Insurance Company, Business Process & Change Analyst. Reviewed and documented the AS IS process position accessing appropriateness and relevance. Defined new or replacement TO BE processes as required. Introduced a greater degree of IT empowerment within a delegated accountability as part of an overall change management workflow. Defined new expected behavioural requirements for how engagement is initiated and transacted, whilst ensuring that overall control continued to be maintained. Prepared documentation for the company in order to achieve CMMi accreditation, including resource planning.
