Held by Claire I offer a compassionate, grounded presence to support you through life’s sacred transitions, whether through ceremony, healing, or at the end of life.

My work is guided by intuition, deep listening, and a gentle respect for the sacred in each moment. Following a 30 year career in teaching, I set up my own business Pathfinder Holistic Healing in 2017 after qualifying in spiritual counselling, Soul Plan Reading and other healing therapies at the Holistic Healing College in London. Training as a Celebrant and then an End-of-Life Doula/Soul Midwife with the UK Society of Celebrants felt like a natural progression and extension of my holistic business and I found many parallels between the two businesses that, for several years, I ran alongside each other. In 2025, after 2 years of very deep and insightful training with the One Spirit Interfaith Foundation, I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister and I brought my celebrant, spiritual accompaniment and healing services together under my new business name Held by Claire. I live in the beautiful village of Withnell, near Chorley, with my dog, Scooby. Alongside my ministry and spiritual practice, I enjoy walking, reading, singing, cricket and spending time with my son and grandson. Being an Interfaith Minister to me is acceptance of all faiths and those who don’t conform to any organised religion. It’s about seeing and celebrating the value and worth in everyone and the understanding that each of us has our own path to travel. It’s about creating a space, whether through my celebrant work, healing work or spiritual accompaniment, where everyone can feel safe, valued, respected and held, and where there is an opportunity for connection, healing and growth. I offer you my presence, my respect, my compassion and a safe space where you can freely express yourself and know you will be listened to deeply and without judgement. Services offered: Interfaith Celebrant, Soul Midwife (End of Life doula), Spiritual Accompaniment, Healing therapies & readings (Reiki, Soul Plan Reading, Soul Transformation Therapy, Qigong).

Wishing you a beautiful time going into the Equinox tomorrow. It is the time where day and night will be of equal length all around the world.

Here in the Northern Hemisphere our nights will be longer than your days from now on as we are moving towards the Winter Solstice, which will be on the 21st of December. Up to this time our nights will grow longer by a few minutes daily until we will experience the longest night of the year. Then the Wheel of the Year will turn once more and the dance of day and light is going to reverse as we will experience the slow return of the light...

But for now we are perfectly balanced between darkness and light.

No matter if you are going into the lighter months of the year in the Southern Hemisphere or if you are entering the darker period with us, we hope that you will feel your connection to this great turning point of the Wheel of the Year and that each new step along your way on the spiral of life will bring you closer to yourself. 🌀☀💙
