🌿 Self-care is not selfish — it’s essential for good mental health. 🌿

This bank holiday weekend, take time to rest, recharge and care for yourself. This can include getting enough sleep, talking to someone you trust, exercising, journaling, or simply taking a break, small acts of self-care can make a big difference.

Remember: You cannot pour from an empty cup. Prioritising your mental well-being allows you to show up stronger for yourself and others. 🧡

We have various free services available for any parent who needs it. Reach out before you reach crisis point 🧡

Come along on Saturday to our face to face group, for a cup of tea, a chat and to connect with other parents who are experiencing similar feelings.

We’re here to listen 12.30-2.30pm. Speak freely and know that you are in a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings

“Maternal su***de is the leading cause of death in the year after birth, yet it’s still rarely discussed.”

Intrusive thoughts in postnatal anxiety and OCD can feel frightening and overwhelming, especially when misunderstood.

In her new book She Seems Fine To Me, out today, Kimberley Nixon explores how these thoughts can leave new mums feeling isolated and unsure of themselves.

May is Maternal Mental Health Month, a reminder to keep these conversations open, honest, and free from stigma 🤍

🧡 Another lovely day at Pandas Lanarkshire 🧡

This week’s set-up looked a little different as we focused on giving the babies a gentle sensory workout while the grown-ups enjoyed some time to chat and connect.

We love being able to adapt each session to suit the needs and ages of those who come along.
