THE POWER OF THE ALPHA STATE IN HYPNOTHERAPY

When you meditate, you enter an Alpha brain wave state - a state of relaxed awareness 🧠 🧘🏻‍♀️ where your mind becomes highly receptive. In this state, learning accelerates, new connections form, and intuition deepens because your conscious mind steps aside, allowing you to absorb information effortlessly.

MY THERAPY EXPERIENCE 🧠👩‍⚕️

Back during COVID, I joined a group CBT therapy session, eager for support as I wasn’t in the best mental state. It was conducted by 2 therapists. While I deeply appreciate therapists and the work they do—their hearts are always in the right place—I couldn’t help but feel something was missing.

The sessions felt disconnected, as though the therapists were just ticking boxes. Their presence was there, but the emotional involvement wasn’t. After just 2 or 3 sessions out of the planned 8, I’ve stopped coming.

Even though the experience didn’t meet my expectations, it gave me a powerful insight: the emotional impact of a therapist is everything. Feeling truly seen, heard, and connected makes all the difference in the healing process. 💡
