🎄 Final Post Before the Holidays – Ear Wax Myth Bust! 🎄

Before we all dash into the Christmas break, here’s a quick fact vs myth about ear wax:

🧡 Myth: “If my ears feel blocked, it must be wax.”
✨ Fact: Not always! Sometimes the feeling of fullness is actually air or fluid in the Eustachian tubes — not wax at all.

🧡 Myth: “If I can see a bit of wax, it needs removing.”
✨ Fact: If your eardrum is visible and the wax isn’t causing problems, it’s usually best left alone. The eardrum is delicate, and protecting your hearing is always the priority.

Many of you have asked about the women and children we support as you want to donate gifts to us

We want all women and children supported by Women's Aid NEL to receive a sack of gifts from us as part of our mission to make their Christmas enjoyable and special.

And we would love you to play a special part in that.

How you can help 💜
1. Buy a gift for a child and/or Mum(see below for ages and gender).
2. Gifts should be new items, not used.
3. Drop off your UNWRAPPED gift to any of our shops, Hainton, Willows, Nunsthorpe or Tiverton.
4. Add your own personalised message if you wish (optional).

As well as in the Refuge, we have many families we support through our outreach services, who are living in domestic abuse situations. These families are of all varying ages and gender and we would love to provide gifts for them too.
