The ancient art of qigong is a wonderful practice that can help release stress and tension that we can hold within our mind and body. Also qigong can help to increase energy levels. 💯🙂️☯️

You may be wondering what is qigong and how can it help me. Ok let me explain to you about qigong. 🙏🌌☯️

Qigong consists of slow mindfull movements combined with breathwork and energy life force that we all carry within our body.When we practice with slow mindfull movements combined with breathwork and also connecting with our internal and external energy this helps to release stress and tension within our mind and body.☯️🙏

When we experience high levels of stress and anxiety this has a huge impact on our health and wellbeing.

We have 12 main meridians that are connected to our internal organs. When our meridians become blocked. This is when we can experience tiredness, frustration, anger and also depression. 😥

The exercises within qigong can help to unblock our energy channels throughout our body and also help strengthen and stimulate our internal organs. ❤️🫁🙏

Health benefits from practising qigong.

Reduces blood pressure ❤️

Lowers Cortisol levels. 🛌

Qigong is a great practice to help release stress and tension from our mind and body. We don't always realise but there are so many areas of our body that hold tension from the stress we can experience within life. 🙏☯️

Just 10 to 15 minutes of qigong can help release tension clear your energy blockages and help to heal you mind and body. 🙂

I often get asked what is qigong. Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice where we use slow mindfull movements combined with our breath.

When we bring our awareness into the present moment through qigong this is a beautiful experience. We can feel the stress and tension ease through every movement and breath we take. ☯️🧘‍♂️

Also within my classes we work with the universal energy and our internal energy 🙏🌌
When we connect spiritually this feeling is beautiful and blissful. All our cares and worrys just float away. 🌌🙏☯️

Do you experience stress and anxiety within your life. Do find that thoughts constantly run around in your mind. Our thoughts trigger Our fight or flight response and our emotions.

When we are in a sympathetic state it is impossible to think calmley about things and also to watch our thoughts and allow them to come and go like the clouds in sky.

This leads me on to qigong practice.

Qigong practice is a wonderful way to to find the calm in your life. When we practice the slow mindfull movements this allows our mind to be in the present moment and can help connect with our parasympathetic nervous system. When we connect with our parasympathetic this helps slow our heart rate and also our thoughts.

To watch our thoughts and allow them to pass like the clouds in the sky takes practice. But when we use qigong and breathwork regularly it can help to watch our thoughts and allow the fear and worry to pass.

What we experience within our past and also present has a huge impact on our mental health. When we experience for example. Bullying, negative messaging and traumer our mind and body find it hard because these messages and experiences stay with us.

They are forged into our subconscious. We don't look attractive. Am I good enough, will I fit in. What will people say about me. All these thoughts are jumping around in our mind.

When we combine qigong breathwork and affirmations this helps reprogram our subconscious mind. When we affirm that we are enough and we can let go of whatever is holding us back this is when we can start to experience peace. ❤️🙏

Finally we can let go of all the worry and fear. We all deserve peace and happiness within our lives.

I recently shared a post about how our thoughts can cause so much stress, anxiety and worry. When we practice how to watch our thoughts and let go of the chatter in our minds we can then find peace and heal. 🙏

Here is a short video to give you more of an insight to the exercises i teach in my qigong classes.

It is the time of year where in chinese philosophy it is the time of the water element. The water element is connected to emotion of fear. Fear can drain our energy qi. Also kidneys relate to the feelings of safety and fear of losing control and enxiety.

With the right exercises and eating the right foods such as root vegetables and ginger / lemon, drinking enough water and gaining a good night's sleep this can help improve our kidney function and improve our health and wellbeing dependent on severity of kidney function.

Slowing down and finding time show self care and love can help heal our mind and body. Also when we show ourselves self care this is when we can experience peace from within.

I haven't been preseant on Facebook for a few weeks. I always say we should all try to slow down in life and take a step back from our work and the hustle and bustle of life.

So I have been practising what i advise others to do. The freedom and peace we can experience when we take our mind off work for a while can help heal and bring peace and happiness.

With a calm and still mind comes peace. How often do you just sit still without thinking of anything. 🧘‍♂️

Within life your mind is constantly thinking, planning, worying about what has to be done. You may looking into your past at what didn't work out for you or fearing what's in the future.

When you find time to just be and allow the mind to be quiet this helps to find peace from within and also heal.

Even if you can only spare 10 to 15 mins in your day of total stillness this can help ease stress, anxiety and bring peace. 🙏☯️
