Today we finished day 3/3 of our CQC registration inspection. Over the last number of weeks our team has dedicated tireless effort to turn around a first class ambulance station, fleet of vehicles, systems, processes and procedures to reflect extremely high levels of care, organisation, effectiveness and strategy.

I am proud of every single person who in this time has contributed, assisted, supported and provided time, effort, energy and good old graft to make this happen. For those staff week in, week out working shifts for us on events and private medical contracts, a huge thank you to you too. You are the reason we are making a top tier service to reflect the needs of staff so that they can provide for the public.

We are here to make an impact.

Since the company opened its doors on the 4th December 2023, we have worked tirelessly to get a function ambulance station up and running. We have built this space and the company in just over 8 weeks.

To prepare the space, we took into consideration feedback from numerous existing staff within the private sector to create a space that reflects needs, is easy to use and inviting.

This is some of our station and the rooms that we have worked on. We have dedicated office spaces for administration staff, a bright and welcoming store room for all our equipment and a purpose built wipe down / slice and preparation room.

We have lots coming in 2024 with some huge festivals and more!

Every day is cleaning day! We clean our vehicles inside and out pre and post every shift. This ensures they’re free of dirt and germs and are ready for action.

We are running an Emergency First Aid At Work (with Paediatrics) on January 5th 2023!

Kick start the New Year with some lifesaving and REALLY useful practical knowledge on First Aid.

Ran from our base in Swadlincote, DE11 0WT. The course is just £70.00 per person and covers all of the below topics. (We can also add in some extra topics based on your workplace). This course is for the public and/or for businesses that wish to book multiple places. There are 7 places left!

We will have a crew out this weekend in Ashby De La Zouch to look after the night time economy, working in partnership with Leicestershire Police and North West Leicestershire District Council. Read all about the scheme below!

Westward Medical has come to an end and has become part of the 25Eight Group, forming the basis for 25Eight Medical. This venture will move the business forwards in its level of care, operations and scale. The business is currently applying for the CQC registration and preparing its new ambulance station ready for action. We are still the same bunch of caring, friendly and professional individuals but are now part of something bigger. We've transferred over the clients, care and consideration we put into the people we work with.

Thank you for the support through the WWM stage, onto bigger and better things with patients at the heart of care. 🚑

We have 6 teams out today and the same again tomorrow over the East Midlands, The West Midlands and South Yorkshire! We’re still not the best at posting updates to social media but the work doesn’t stop! It’s been our busiest event season yet and WE LOVE IT. A quick thank you to all our amazing clients, staff, support team, admin team and the UK population for keeping up busy.

We are pretty much done for the year, apart from some long term contracts. we would like to thank all of our staff for their amazing work. we would also like to thank every member of the public and other services that have helped us along the way. It's been a brilliant year and we look forward to 2023. In the meantime we will keep posting photos from throughout the year.

This weekend we had another good weekend. With 4 teams covering events across the midlands.
1 covering a football match
1 covering a COVID-19 Vaccination centre
1 covering a night club on Friday & Saturday
1 covering a school event

We often meet celebrities when covering events such as festivals, but never did we expect to meet this famous face while carrying out a long-term contract for a local night club. (Needless to say we soon discovered he was just a look-alike)

Some of our staff attended the emergency services show at NEC Birmingham. what an amazing day reconnecting with business friends & colleagues while exploring some of the fantastic stands & dropping into some seminars.
