I am passionate about children’s Heath & wellbeing and my speciality is hosting Mobile Yoga Sessions that can be offered within your establishments for 2-12yrs age group.(Early Years/Primary Schools/Out of School Clubs,etc) in & around Coatbridge. I also host mobile Pre-Yoga/Multi-Sensory sessions from Birth-2yrs-pre~school within your establishment

I have Over 20yrs+ professional experience working in early years settings & establishments as Nursery Nurse /Key Worker/child practitioner & Depute Manager. Wealth of experience working with primary school aged children in local out of school clubs. Also experienced Local Authority Summer Play Scheme Play Leader & Detached Youth Worker.(primary school aged-16yrs)
And by no means least ,I am MUM to my 2 Autistic /Tourette’s sons who were & still are ,my inspiration for this business. WHY CHOOSE YOGATASTIC KIDZ? This is the space that I longed for when I was actively & desperately seeking an activity for my 2 Autistic sons. I wasn’t specifically looking for ASN activities ,just a non-competitive ,non-overwhelming,slower paced & smaller numbers activity,where the parent or the carer didn’t have to sit outside in a car park or a draughty corridor waiting & not leaving the premises incase my sons needed support/reassurance at any given time.(which most often than not ,they did require)
The activities on offer then didn’t exist!!! Too noisy/large numbers/large echoing spaces/raised voices to be heard /fast paced/competitive … it just didn’t work for my kids. So lightbulb moment … I would provide that activity for them & other kids & their families too ..,there was plenty of us who were having similar struggles!!! And so YOGATASTIC KIDZ was established September 2019 after my CYT training with WAKING MINDS YOGA! A specialised yoga teacher training course for kids 2-12yrs.
4 days of practical training & 100s of hours of research & assessments & essays!! And your welcome to be a part of this creative journey too.. So let me share with you what I can do for your children & you! My aim is to provide a welcoming ,friendly,inclusive,happy,
relaxed & fun & stimulating environment when you/your child attend any of my classes. A place where you & your child can be themselves & to express creativity & emotions in a safe space at their/your own pace ,whilst promoting healthy minds & bodies & hopefully forming new friendships & skills. An ALL INCLUSIVE service to all children /families especially those children who face daily challenges ,additional needs ,anxieties/fears & who struggle to be in social spaces. CHILDREN’S YOGA
1** Children’s Yoga offers a multitude of movements ,known as ASANAS ,in any 1 session (isn’t that AMAZING!!!) & this is a form of exercise.
2** Children’s Yoga is not just a physical exercise it also stimulates “proper breathing” & relaxes the mind,offering calm times ,to keep it healthy,using breathing activities (exercises) Therefore … Healthy mind ,Healthy Body!
3**Children’s Yoga is unique & differs from most adult yoga as it offers non-competitive,self exercise & yet it offers interactive & engaging moments with other children too & child friendly/familiar & relative props.
4**Children’s Yoga is also a beautiful & gentle way to not only learn about loving ourselves & being kind to ourselves but also to the people around us in our world.
