✨ The Sōma Sana First Look | A Private Preview ✨

The week before we open, Sōma Sana will be welcoming a small number of people inside for a First Look.

This is a private preview of the clinic - a chance to experience our space, our approach, and our wellness facilities before anyone else.

We’re offering four complimentary, hosted invitations, each for one person plus their guest, to take part in a four-hour guided wellness journey with full access to our facilities.

This experience cannot be booked or purchased.

We’re excited to share that Sōma Sana will be offering full-body red light therapy sessions. Our bed has been carefully chosen for its power, precision, and clinically proven wavelengths.

A big milestone this week as begin their first fix ⚡️

This journey hasn’t been without its challenges, as expected there have been some surprises along the way. We’ve had to strengthen floors, strip walls back to brick, navigate shifting fire regulations and submit and resubmit with building control. What was meant to be an October opening has taken a little longer than planned.

But standing here now, seeing real progress, it finally feels like we’re getting there. Thanks to and the team on site, the space is finally taking shape.

Every big project has a pause button ⏸️

The past month has been all about paperwork, building regs, and ticking the less-exciting boxes ✅. Not much action on site… but all for good reason.

Now the red tape is behind us, the hard hats are back on 👷‍♂️👷‍♀️ and we’re ready to get things moving again this week. Exciting updates ahead!

Today was busy day on site at Sōma Sana.

We had our architect, project manager, builder, plumber, and design team on site - all walking through the space together, making sure every single detail is just right.

From the big things like layout flow and room functionality, to the small details like how the light will look in the room or how a door will open - every choice is made with one goal in mind - Creating a world class environment where our clients can access tailored care, advanced therapies, and long-term health solutions. We’re making decisions that will shape how the clinic feels the moment you step inside.

There’s still a lot of dust, exposed studs, and hard work ahead, but every visit brings it closer to life. This isn’t just a building, it’s the future hub of wellness, advanced therapies and a space designed with experience in mind.

Every element of the clinic has been curated with experience at its core. From the flow of the space to the textures, tones, and finishing touches, our aim is to deliver calm, comfort, and care in every detail. ✨

With six bespoke treatment rooms and a dedicated space for events and classes, we hope to create a true hub of health and wellness in the heart of Cockermouth.

The countdown has begun and we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors later this year.
