As someone with people pleasing tendencies, I can totally relate to this meme.

Sitting with discomfort in all of these things can feel impossible at first, like trying to climb a mountain in stilettos!

But the more you practice, even if you practically chew your own hand off with the discomfort, then gradually, the feelings start to diminish.

I still get that discomfort to a degree, but my awareness means I give it a nod and know that it will pass.

It’s still not easy sometimes, especially if I’m feeling vulnerable but my god, it’s way better than it used to be and gives me permission to put my needs first.

Now that, my friends, is a great feeling 😊
