In medicine, there’s a principle that everyone’s different. We all have different anatomy, muscle/ tissue sizes and our body’s all react differently to treatments. This is why some people can tolerate some drugs whilst others cannot. Botox treatment is no different.

The nasolabial folds, otherwise known as “smile lines”, are the two folds of skin which form from the bottom of the nose to the corners of the mouth. Everyone has these, however the depth and severity can vary.

Filler is easily injected into these folds which adds volume and lifts the skin, reducing the depth and appearance of these lines.
