Lasts nights lessons were a little interrupted.
In the first lesson we were joined but a beautiful female Stag beetle. Newly emerged from her 7 year transformation into the black beauty she became, I felt fortunate to see her and be able to remove her from the village hall and pop her back outdoors where hopefully she has the opportunity to mate- her life’s mission!
In the second lesson a student pointed out a blue tit up at the window - a taller student then me was able to safely and gently pop a blanket over it and safety remove from the hall!
Living and teaching in our little rural village of Fingringhoe really is a blessing and reminders like this remind me that we are nature and must do all we can to protect it and these precious insects and animals we share it with❤️❤️❤️❤️
