What's the one Ayurvedic concept that I have learnt (and put into practice) that has been most beneficial for me?

It's living in rhthym with each season 🙌🏼💥

Ritucharya are seasonal guidelines for our life that can change slightly with each season - it might be slightly altering the time that you wake or go to bed, your exercise routine might alter slightly, maybe there is slight changes to the food or herbs that you eat, how much you rest✨️

These slightly changes align us with the qualities of the season and their dosha so that we work with nature rather than against it.

In springtime I try to get up around 6am (not always easy!) and slowly encourage some movement to shift kapha dosha🌞

My own Yoga practice might include some sun salutations, some shaking and tapping and definitely pranayama to support my lungs and the movement of energy, so I don't feel sluggish💃🏻

I include self-massage, make sure that I am eating warm and lighter meals, and that I get out into the fresh air as much as I can🌞

I also encourage as much joy as I can into my day!😉

Is there anything that you feel you could add in to your week through spring? Would love to hear 💕💕💕

Our Qigong sessions are flowing into spring and the Chinese phase of wood 🌳

Let's explore growth, clear vision, smooth transitions and adaptability.

The wood phase out of balance can lead to angry misdirected outbursts, a domineering energy, over-impulsiveness and a temperamental nature 🤔 I think there's enough of that happening right now...

Come along and join our friendly, welcoming community 😊

Spring Renewal: A 3-Week Online Journey into Yoga & Ayurveda

Starting Thursday 5th March - Thursday 19th March
Winter is ending… but are you still feeling heavy, sluggish, or low in energy?

Spring in Ayurveda is Kapha season — a time to clear, energise, and awaken.

Do you feel that you need to
Boost your energy?
Strengthen your digestion?
Clear mental fog?
Build simple seasonal routines?

This is your gentle spring reset.

As the snow melts outside, it can melt inside too — showing up as:
• Sluggish digestion
• Brain fog
• Congestion
• Low motivation

Instead of pushing harder, Ayurveda suggests we shift with the season.

In my upcoming 3-week online course, Spring Renewal, we’ll combine:
Energising yoga flows
Breathwork to stimulate circulation
Seasonal food guidance
Morning rituals to build vitality

No extreme “detoxing”.
No overwhelm.
Just aligned, sustainable seasonal living, and accessible, down-to-earth practices.

Want to feel fabulous? Come and give it a go.

Rather than beating yourself up about new years resolutions that have fell by the wayside already (I had to finish all that chocolate on new years day!), how about just inviting a gentle, sustainable rhthym back into your daily life✨️✨️

Waking around the same time each day, having a little time in the morning to be quiet without looking at your phone or turning the telly on, a bit of movement, a warming breakfast. Ayurveda calls this rythym dinacharya - a daily routine of wellbeing. This routine then becomes a healthy habit for you - no denying yourself, no fads, no spending money on fancy kit. Just you making a commitment to be kind to yourself.

Speaking of healthy habits! We’re back at classes from Saturday 3rd Jan, which also happens to be the first full moon of the year✨️✨️

Our new year newsletter is out there- find it in my bio or subscribe from my website. Read about an online beginners/returnees Yoga course, our winter class timetable, a spring retreat that I will be part of, and massage days through wintertime…

New to yoga? Been away longer than you meant to? Perfect — this back-to-basics Yoga course was made for you. Over four welcoming weeks, we’ll ease back into moving, breathing and feeling like ourselves again. Expect gentle postures, a few giggles, easeful progress and that glorious ahh feeling when you finally relax on the mat.

As we go, you’ll begin to regain strength, improve mobility, release tension, and feel calmer in both body and mind — all without needing to twist into anything resembling a pretzel. Each session ends with relaxation, because frankly, we all deserve a lie-down.

You don’t need to be bendy, brave, or even know what “downward dog” is — just arrive, breathe, and let yoga do the rest.

Perfect for: complete beginners, returning yogis, and anyone who’d quite like to feel stronger, calmer and more comfortable being human again.

We’ll meet each Thursday for 4 weeks from 8th Jan – 29th Jan at 6.30pm for an hour long session of movement, breathing and relaxation. It will be a down-to-earth introduction (or re-introduction) to the magical practices of Hatha Yoga. Classes will be live via zoom from my spare room to yours, and you will get to keep the recordings of the sessions so that you can give it all a go again in your own time.

No fancy leggings, no expensive mats, no gimmicks. Just you connecting, gently to your Self again.

You will receive a zoom link via email before our first session.

Do you already feel exhausted? Is your mind overly busy? Does your body feel tired?

You deserve to treat yourself to some time and peace this time of year✨️

Join this one-off Yoga Nidra session to rest and restore in the run-up to the festive season.
