What's the one Ayurvedic concept that I have learnt (and put into practice) that has been most beneficial for me?
It's living in rhthym with each season 🙌🏼💥
Ritucharya are seasonal guidelines for our life that can change slightly with each season - it might be slightly altering the time that you wake or go to bed, your exercise routine might alter slightly, maybe there is slight changes to the food or herbs that you eat, how much you rest✨️
These slightly changes align us with the qualities of the season and their dosha so that we work with nature rather than against it.
In springtime I try to get up around 6am (not always easy!) and slowly encourage some movement to shift kapha dosha🌞
My own Yoga practice might include some sun salutations, some shaking and tapping and definitely pranayama to support my lungs and the movement of energy, so I don't feel sluggish💃🏻
I include self-massage, make sure that I am eating warm and lighter meals, and that I get out into the fresh air as much as I can🌞
I also encourage as much joy as I can into my day!😉
Is there anything that you feel you could add in to your week through spring? Would love to hear 💕💕💕
