Say hello to Christine, one of our brilliant Bro-ga guides!

With over 15 years of yoga experience, Christine brings a calm, down-to-earth approach that makes every class accessible, inclusive, and genuinely enjoyable — whether you’re completely new or already stretching like a pro.

Yoga first became part of Christine’s life as a way to ease lower-back pain and manage stress and anxiety. Over time, it grew into a daily practice and a passion — combining movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation to support both body and mind.

Having completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 and a 300-hour Advanced Training in 2022, Christine now shares that experience with others — helping everyone discover the balance, strength, and focus that yoga brings.

It’s all too easy to get carried away with that post-Christmas motivation — the “new year, new me” energy that makes us want to change everything at once.

Here’s my top tip:

If you’re telling yourself…
• “I’m stopping this…”
• “I’m starting that…”
• “I must…”
• “I’ve got to…”

Take a breath. Give yourself a break. Start the new year gently.

Because a simple, enjoyable habit done for 365 days beats a hard-core habit that lasts 14.

Our 3 Best Yoga Exercises that you can do at home to significantly help you feel less tight, de-stress, release tension and loosen achy backs.

Our Bro-ga teachers have collaborated to come up with three effective exercises that you can do at home without any previous yoga experience.

To get the biggest benefits, find a quiet time in your house and a little space to do them every day.

Perhaps build them into your morning routine, first thing before a coffee.

If every day is not possible, do them three times a week to still feel the benefits.

And the exercises will take only 5 minutes to complete so they’re easy to fit into the day.

I did something I hate.

I sang karaoke.
Terrifying. Awful. Or so I thought.

I chose an easy song, got the crowd involved, sang a duet…
and honestly? It wasn’t that bad.

I was nervous. I was uncomfortable.
But I did it to prove a point: growth lives on the other side of resistance.

Next time that little voice tells you “don’t do it,” pause.
What you’re avoiding probably has more reward than risk.

There might be lots of excuses why you won’t try yoga right now but trust me when I say the thought is far worse than the action 😉

💺 Bro-ga Basics: Child’s Pose (or Balasana in yogi speak)

Don’t be fooled by the name — this one’s a game-changer for tight hips and sore backs.

Perfect for after the gym, after work… or after pretending to tidy the garage.

How to do it:
1️⃣ Kneel down, big toes together, knees apart.
2️⃣ Sit back towards your heels.
3️⃣ Stretch your arms forward and let your forehead rest on the mat.
4️⃣ Breathe — long, slow, deep breaths.
