Our M1 Response Bag was recently put through its paces during a training scenario with the , where participants faced a realistic medical emergency in a maritime setting.

These types of immersive simulations highlight just how critical it is to have reliable, well-organised equipment on hand when every second counts. We’re proud to see the M1 supporting teams as they build confidence and skills in challenging environments.

🚀 Our New Website is LIVE!

Let’s be honest, our old website was slow, clunky, and made it harder than it should’ve been to find what you need. We knew it needed work, and we’ve finally had the chance to put that work in.

We’ve completely rebuilt the site from the ground up. It’s now faster, cleaner, and much easier to use. Alongside that, we’ve launched a load of new kit variations, updated some of the existing ones, and made big improvements to our Kit Builder so it’s smoother and easier to customise what you need.

This has been a big push for us, lots of late nights, problem-solving, and learning as we go. It’s still a work in progress, and there may be the odd bug or rough edge, but overall, we’re proud of what’s now live.

If you spot anything off or have feedback, we’d really appreciate you letting us know. Every bit of input helps us keep making things better.

MERE at the - Combat Medical Conference | Ulm, Germany 🇩🇪

This year’s Combat Medical Conference brought together over 44 nations in a shared mission to advance the future of military medicine, and we were proud to be part of it.

From cutting-edge trauma innovations to deployable field hospitals and battlefield blood banks, the technology and expertise on display were outstanding. The event continues to set the standard for international collaboration in operational medicine.

We were especially pleased by the recognition and engagement from professionals across Europe who are already familiar with the MERE brand, trusted for quality, reliability, and service.

Thank you to the organisers for delivering a first-class event and to everyone who visited our stand, it was a privilege to connect, exchange ideas, and showcase how MERE continues to support medical teams in the most demanding environments.

Statement from .mere
Today marks the 5-year anniversary of baby MERE Supplies. That means 5 years of no sleep, constant worry, fiery arguments, belly laughs, massive highs, and a few crushing lows. But to get a business off the ground, that’s probably the recipe.

I still remember getting home from a night shift on the ambulance, work phone on my chest (otherwise id sleep through a call), grabbing a couple of hours sleep… then waking up to a 10am call: “Good morning, MERE Supplies!” You’re awake, hearts pounding, but all you wanna do is sleep but you cant. That level of tiredness, Is just painful 🫵 know the feeling 🫵 But now, looking back, it all feels like a daze.

Fast forward to today, we’ve got a fully stocked warehouse, we’re recruiting again, and about to launch our latest Response Bag. I still remember our first shipment, 100 pouches. My mum said, “Shouldn’t you just try and sell one first?” Fair point 😅 But now we’ve got over 2,000 pouches sitting proudly on the racks. Sometimes, you’ve just got to back yourself and jump in with both feet.

60% of businesses in the UK don’t make it to year five, and honestly, I get it. But here we are. The last few years simply wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering love and support from friends and family, our loyal customers, and the brilliant team around us, all cheering us on, lifting us up, and pushing us forward in your own way. Even our suppliers have played a huge role, working with us, backing our ideas, and helping us keep the momentum going. Every single one of you has been part of MERE’s journey, and I’m endlessly grateful.

To top it off, for the second time, MERE is heading back to Europe, this time we’re exhibiting at the Combat Medical Conference in Ulm, Germany. If you’re there, come find us. Let’s have a chat.

Help Us Make Our IFAKs Even Better!

At MERE, we’re always on the move, because saving lives means staying ahead. We’re updating some of our kits with new brands and fresh gear. But before we finalise these changes, we want to hear from YOU 🫵

Research tells us that:

15% of battlefield fatalities could be prevented with timely interventions.
9% from extremity bleeding,
5% from tension pneumothorax, and
1% from airway obstruction.

These are exactly the scenarios that IFAKs are designed to handle. However, we know that not everyone is trained to use advanced airway devices or chest decompression needles. That’s why, for now, our IFAKs focus on the biggest, most preventable causes of death, extremity bleeding, while keeping our kits cost-effective, accessible, and inclusive. Airway and chest decompression gear belong in the hands of trained medics, which is why we reserve those for our Advanced Medic Response Bag.
