Happy client…..happy IBCLC 😊

To give some context…this mum was exclusively breastfeeding her 4 month old daughter beautifully, but had a hen weekend coming up and wanted her baby to be able to take a bottle so she could enjoy the weekend away, knowing her daughter would take her expressed breastmilk from bottles in her absence. With skilled assessment, knowledge, guidance and encouragement, they got there. Baby was fed by dad during the day and mum chose to return home in the evenings for the night feeds. The family are choosing to keep a bottle of EBM part of their daily/weekly routine to keep this feeding method as an option, should they need it. I’m so proud of their commitment and trust in me.

It’s taken me long enough, but I’m nearly ready to launch my website. Meanwhile, this has not stopped me accepting enquiries and having the privilege of supporting women’s feeding journeys.
