Who is Anna Day?
With over 5 years working as an aerial acrobat in the circus industry, Anna has an intimate experiential knowledge of the body, how to achieve its best potential, how it can fail/injure and most of all how to fix and prevent those injuries. During her time as an aerialist Anna also trained as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor, specialising in her main interest; injury prevention and rehabilitation. As her interest for the subject grew, so did her knowledge. Taking courses in everything from PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) stretching to Boxfit, Anna developed her skills so much that she decided she wanted to gain a professional qualification in injury prevention and treatment.
Anna completed her training in 2018 in Sports and Remedial massage and has completed further advanced training, achieving her level 4 in 2020. Since then, Anna has carried on her learning journey with specialist training, including Myofacial dry cupping, and hot stones therapy and is planning to complete her dry needle therapy in 2023.
Anna has experience working with a range of people from professional athletes, to 90+ year old with grade 3 strains. Anna loves to work with the injured, but also those who want to prevent it. All levels of fitness, all ages, abilities and body type can be helped with this treatment. Sessions can be anything from an overall deep tissue body massage for stressed, tired bodies, to a remedial massage course on a specific injury.
Anna can also offer full packages of prevention or rehabilitation using a combination of massage, personal training, and flexibility training. If you aren't sure what you need or have any questions, just ask!
