Last night I stepped into another world… the grand opening of the Roundhouse Park in The Past and honestly, it was pure magic.✨

Fire-lit faces, ancient stories, music that stirred something deep in the bones… Beowulf came alive right in front of us. Not just a performance, but a whole-body experience , laughter, gasps, song, and that warm sense of gathering that humans have shared around flames for thousands of years.

The space itself is breathtaking. A hand-built roundhouse glowing in amber light, the smell of woodsmoke curling through the rafters, people huddled close with warm drinks, actually connecting. Outside, the land holds its own enchantment , a shimmering lake, ancient trees, and the River Alyn winding gently through it all like a silver thread pulling history into the present isn’t just a place… it’s a feeling. A step back into something simpler, wilder, and deeply human.

If you’re looking for an evening that opens your heart, fills your senses, and reminds you of the old ways , keep an eye out for their next events. Storytelling nights like this are rare gems… and they deserve every bit of support and love.
