Clarity doesn’t come when you’re overwhelmed.

It comes when you feel safe enough to slow down.

I used to try to THINK my way out of stress.
Overanalyse.
Problem-solve.
Push harder.

But all that did was make my nervous system louder.

Now when everything feels too much, I don’t force answers.

I stop.
Hand on heart.
Feet on the ground.
One slow breath.

And something shifts.

Because overwhelm isn’t a thinking problem.
It’s a nervous system problem.

My role isn’t to tell women what to do with their lives.

My role is to help you hear yourself again.

To help you trust the voice that’s already inside you.

It feels like safety.
Like your shoulders dropping.
Like you can hear yourself again.

Start smaller than that.
Soften your shoulders.
Place your hand on your chest.
Take one slow breath.

This morning
Ellie was in a funk & I felt like s**t.

So you know what we did? We had a dance party in the kitchen. Her bag wasn’t packed, her snack wasn’t ready
sh*t even her teeth weren’t brushed 😂 But in that moment the most important thing was shifting the funk and bringing some light back into ourselves.

So we stopped what we were doing. Had some fun and omg I feel like a new woman.

She’s gone off to school happy (with her snack & her teeth brushed) and i’m at my desk smiling.
