And what can start off as just a simple idea, can crystallize and solidify into its phyiscal form.

From the seedlings of thought, our ideas can blossom and become wonders.

We must nurture our thoughts, give them expression, through action and continue to expand on them through our inner belief and by having enduring faith.

Your greatest achievements can start with a simple idea, that you must protect and feed persistently.

What old habit will you remove from your life today that isn’t helping you? Will you commit to it and see it through that you won’t do it again?

How you can enhance your Health & Sporting Performance

“The Life of our flesh, our cells and Mind is in blood”.

Benefits of improving the quality of your blood:
1. Greater energy
2. Reduced fatigue / mental tiredness
3. Exercise for longer at the same level of effort
4. Better skin, hair, nails
5. Improved sleep
6. Quicker recovery
7. Greater clarity and focus of mind

And what you eat, how you move your body, how you breathe and how you think, literally controls the operations and performance of humans. And it is through our blood that life and energy is released.

So you would therefore conclude, that to enhance your body and mind (YOUR HEALTH), you must improve the quality of your blood.

A Human weighing 70-80kg has around 70-80 trillion cells in their body.

And a large proportion of human cells are red blood cells.

Red blood cells are vital to human function as they transport oxygen to living cells and removes the waste products including carbon dioxide.

The blood also transports your other vital components to sustain life and generate energy, such as nutrients (vitamins, minerals, sugars, fats and protein), plasma, white blood cells and platelets.

Changing your results and success through your Blood -

So you literally can transform who you are by enhancing the quality of your blood.

Strategies to enhance the quality of your blood:
1. Alkalise your body and blood by choosing foods and drinks that are alkaline based. I will be doing a separate post to cover this in more detail soon. An example would be leafy greens and drinking freshly squeezed lemon juice with warm water. Alkalising the blood helps the red blood cells to become more negatively charged and therefore improve viscosity of the blood. It is scientifically proven that higher blood ph levels reduces the onset of fatigue.

2. Exercise – regularly and consistently above the point of normal breathing. Getting out of breath will help to promote your cardiovascular system and enhance your vascular system network of capillaries. Be mindful that exercising at a level where you can still talk is essential, as you want to be training your aerobic energy system and not anaerobic (which is in the absence of oxygen).

3. Getting into the cold. Cold is a great alkaliser. Whilst offering many other health benefits, including improving your immune system (increasing white blood cell count – that help fight off pathogens / infections). Getting cold, also helps keeping away colds / the flu.

4. Meditate / Mindfulness practice. Meditation is a way of being silent and quietening the mind and body and being present with oneself, whilst not focusing on external (environmental) factors. Your brain utilises approximately 30% of the foods/drinks you consume, so it is vital that the processes going on in your Mind are put to best use and not wasting critical energy stores. When you are able to control your thoughts, you are able to direct your energies to greater use, but you are also able to bat off unwanted thoughts that may have influences on stress levels (cortisol), anxiety, anger or fear, which further dispenses your energy.

5. Breath work. Breath training can really enhance the conditioning and expansion of your lungs and diaphragm. But breathing can also enhance the biochemistry of the blood and also its ability to utilise and transport more oxygen and remove waste products quicker. (the bloods affinity for oxygen is enhanced – haemoglobin increases which helps bind more oxygen molecules).

Above all, the key to any improvement in life is to make gradual and consistent changes that stick and become natural to your lifestyle. This way the Mind (subconscious/unconscious Mind) does not have to fight against resistance as much.

But with everything you do worthwhile and worth fighting for, there will always be resistance, it’s a part of life and stress also promotes growth! But just remember stress also requires recovery to promote the growth.

And so the key with building better habits is to have really Big....Important Reasons, a Purpose (WHY’s) for wanting to make the change happen in the first place.

As my mentor Jim Rohn always used to explain, when your ‘WHY’s’ are big enough, the how’s become easy.

Let your WHY’s be your powerful magnets or your compass that steers you towards your Goals and Dreams and to live Extraordinary.

Most people don’t do well because they don’t feel well.

And they don’t feel well because they don’t have their health of body and mind.

When you take back your true innate intelligence of health, you can have the energy, vibrancy, thirst and happiness for life.

What do I mean by innate (health) intelligence?

I mean the knowing, that feeling inside that things feel right, you feel the health within, calmness, peace, serenity, that comes from making the right and conscious health choices. Choices that you consciously and intentionally made because you thought about it and knew it was the correct course of action to take.

That is the power of presence (the power of now). You reasoned with your thoughts and then you had the willpower to follow through on what you know is right. Not what will give you immediate pleasure (that quick fix), but knowing that any choice that presents some sort of short term pain or suffering (mentally), will offer you far greater long term rewards, a life of no regrets.

When we stop and really think things through and reason with our thoughts and assess the impact and possible outcomes of our actions, we tend to think right and that can only lead to greater personal progression and results for ourselves.

Innate means ‘Inborn, Natural’.

So when we reason with ourselves and challenge what things mean and how these will affect us, 9 times out of 10 we will make the wise and right choice. Because it’s innately within us to grow, expand and enhance our potential as humans.

Intelligence - ‘the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills’.

I would say that when we apply our innate instincts to choose the right thoughts and actions, those actions repeated over and over form our knowledge and skills. And Repetition is the Mother of skill.

From the point where we consciously act in a health seeking direction, we have established our innate health intelligence.

When you have acquired the tools, the ideas, a formulated plan of how to manage and be responsible for our own health, life and choices become easier and we have the energy, vibrancy, joy and happiness to shape our own world, destiny and success.

There is nothing without energy. Energy is the sole source of the universe along with matter.

Gain back your energy and you can have all the health you desire and all the success you deserve.

And with our health constantly growing and expanding, we can continue to enhance our personal performance, happiness and fulfillment as humans.

There’s nothing more you need to do to go far in life, than to follow these three simple principles.

- DREAM BIG

- WORK HARD

- STAY HUMBLE

I dropped into Robin Hood Park at Wigan today after Harrison had completed his Aquathon race this morning.

I first came here straight after University, some 19 years ago to train for 400m/800m running and had the privilege of training with the amazing Olympian Jenny Meadows

It brought back many happy memories of churning out some tough sessions on the track. But also the time we spent inside on sprint work, stability, plyometrics, stretching and having fun with field event practice.

There’s always magic and inspiration to be found in where we came from and what got us to where we are today.

I think these principles remain at the heart of who I am and what Dreamers Dare represents and stands for and to help others find their inspiration, their Purpose, Passion and drive for life, to become a higher healthier and Happier version of themselves and to chase down their dreams like there’s no tomorrow.

Life is a true gift.

It truly is that simple and accurate; that where there is a Will there is a Way…….

The Will to keep trying when things go wrong.

The Will to keep believing in yourself when things get tough and all you are experiencing is negative feedback.

The Will to say to yourself I will not give up, I will find a way, because this thing or someone is so important to me.

The Will of the Mind is a voice in the mind that is the guardian angel who continually whispers those positive words of encouragement. And that voice grows and strengthens over time when your dominating thoughts and focus are on your major aim or goal or dream.

That voice has always been there, but will only show it’s presence when you feed it positive ingredients of healthy foods, thoughts and fluids.

If you don’t, the voices you may hear will be of discouragement, doubts, worries, hesitations, uncertainty and this causes the mind to stall and likely stop. Place yourself in an environment that inspires positivity, but if you can’t always, try and block out any negative messages.

We all feed off positive encouragement which helps us to keep trying and giving our best, but at times when no one else is there or watching, you have to be your own council, your own cheerleader, your own slave driver, personal motivator to just keep taking action. And what helps is the thoughts and visions we hold in our mind that pull us towards our goals.

The will to do something may seem extremely hard at first, it can be likened to the energy and power required to get the wheels of a train turning, but once up to sp*ed, the train moves along with less effort and energy expenditure - it has gained ‘Momentum’.

The key is to just get started and push those mind muscles that are resisting change. You must sometimes ignore that voice that doesn’t want you to do it. Big yourself up and say to yourself I’m going to do this whether you like it or not. You may have to intensify your emotions to get going. Get some great music playing to relax you and remove stresses or to distract the mind.

Ask yourself what will I lose out on if I don’t take this action, will I have regrets in years to come. Some short term pain is so worth it to live a life full of happiness, gratitude, appreciation and freedom.

The mind is not often used to change or mental pain (what feels uncomfortable or doesn’t satisfy you), as it thrives off its dominating thoughts and feelings and so the key is to do as many repetition of that something, so that what was once unfamiliar becomes familiar and the mind is thriving on its newly trained task/process/thought.

I would love you to appreciate the power of transforming one new positive habit and see what it does for you, mentally, emotionally and physically.

As Jim Rohn used to say “Every discipline effects the rest” and every discipline is vitally important.

Just start with trying to change one habit that is not serving you and which you feel needs to be changed. Once you master removing one old habit and by replacing it with a positive one, you will then come to realise how the mind shifts gear and the mind opens up to start focusing on other areas of your lifestyle where it wants to improve too.

It’s a silent nature of the mind to thrive and behind the scenes it will secretly habour to work for you, if only you have other strong enough habits to thrive on.

List out 4 or 5 bad habits and choose today which one you want to destroy once and for all, by replacing it with a super exciting positive one. Now you must really commit yourself and write down your new goal and express all your will and intent into it. Read it over and over again so that your mind knows what it’s target it. You cannot hit a target you are not looking at.

Now you must continue to work that new habit until it becomes natural, automatic and it’s part of your daily routine. The power grows from here on in.

Be true to you, be true to your dreams that you deserve - but you must be willing to fight against your old self to get them! 😉💪

“Once you change the voice inside your own mind everything will change for you”

Commit this message to memory

Your outer world is shaped by your inner world.

What are your most dominating thoughts? Are they constructive and positive or are they negative and destructive and working against you?

Are your thoughts truly yours or those pressed upon you by others?

You are not defined by what People think about you, or what they say behind your back. You are defined by your thoughts today and the actions you step into tomorrow.

Never ever let another persons words impact on the way you think, feel or act.

You have the power to take total control over your own mind and Results and not to let your extraordinary ability to be held back any longer.

Train your mind like you move your body. Great things don’t happen after the first practice and in the beginning it is uncomfortable, in the middle it can get messy, but when you breakthrough your transformation, the journey becomes beautiful and the hard work so worth it.

Once you start feeding your Mind positively over and over and over again, your self belief will grow, your fears, doubts or worries will wither away until eventually you starve them where you no longer give them the time of day, because you are now in control and heading for the success you deserve.

It’s hot out there today isn’t you happy people 😅😅

Did you know a great part of us getting tired on hot days and feeling sluggish is due to dehydration.

On hot days our bodies perspire more to help keep us cool.

Did you know our brains are 75% water and when the brain becomes dehydrated your brain actually shrinks and reduces brain function. Dehydration can affect your mood, sleep, recovery, increase fatigue and reduce alertness.

As for our muscles they are up to 70% water and the margins for daily performance are significantly impacted when our muscles become dehydrated.

So on those super hot days take extra care people, especially when exercising as you water intake needs to compensate for the additional sweating you will experience but you may not fully appreciate.

As a general rule 2-3 ltrs of water for women and 2.5-4 ltrs a day for men is recommended. But top up extra when exercising.

Remember that if you are eating good healthy greens, veg or fruit that they will have water in them too, so the amount of water you drink could be less.

Monitor the colour of your urine, it shouldn’t be dark orange, ideally a slight hint of light yellow.

A test if you think you are dehydrated is to drink 750ml of water, and see how much you p*e 1 hour later. Studies suggest that if you drink 750ml and urinate less than 250ml within that hour, there’s a chance you were dehydrated.

I have read across various books the vital role that water has with our health and immune function.

Just look at our planet, the oceans make up 2/3rds of the planet and our forests, plants and grass all utilise high amounts of water to live and thrive and humans are no different.

Make it a health conscious choice of yours to keep your water hydration levels up daily and notice that you feel much better and have greater energy to keep smiling, doing and achieving more.

I had to repost this as I think it’s still such an important post and quote for us to allow to sink in.

Honesty moment………
These last 2 years have been tough and I’ll be totally honest, I’ve really struggled silently with what’s happened in our lives, the separation from seeing everyone, to the change in our way of life, to the things we’ve missed out on.

And I got caught up with it all and lost the focus on my Goals and dreams and let my habits slide, because I stopped looking at my Target. A big part of it was that I lost the confidence to keep pushing on with my new business…..because it was something new, I had doubts I could make it work, but no more. And I fell back to doing the job I knew so well for a major part of my life.

I parked. It was like the full beam of a car was on me continuously and I just didn’t know where to turn to. I had writers block, and I took my eye off the my bullseye Goal.

But inside I had not given up on what I set out to achieve, my life’s Goal, to express who I am and to bring that with a different approach to the Health and Results Coaching Industry, but Ady’s style, my authentic way, with real energy, heart and passion.

Where we have passion and clear purpose we have never ending Energy.

I’ve learnt a lot about myself over the last 2 years and I’ve realised that we can build greater strengths during our darkest hours.

As someone once said “With every adversity there is the seed of an equivalent benefit”. Sometimes it’s hard to see the good when you are going through the bad, but the balance of life, of opposites in the universe, maintains this natural law, that something good has to come from the bad too. It may take time to see what that good is. The good may reveal itself under a different disguise.

I am coming back stronger now, with a very clear purpose, passion in my belly and energy and fire in my heart, to serve you all and help you unleash your Extraordinary potential.

Whatever you have been through, or going through now, don’t give up on you, keep pushing on no matter how hopeless things may seem, because the universe has a funny way of paying back to those that keep on no matter the circumstances.

Without the struggle there is no Gain.

You’ll be seeing a lot me from now on and I hope my content helps you in your own way.

What fuels you to keep going? To keep chasing down your dreams? To never give up on yourself, when all around you seems to be against you, life’s getting too tough and it seems much easier to stop...........

I read a quote from Steve Harvey some time ago and it’s stuck with me ever since:

“If you are going through hell, Keep going!!!, why would you stop in Hell”

I love this quote, it’s so powerful and ignites my inner motivation to keep pushing on.

This really hit me hard in a positive way and has made an significant impact on me to never give up, no matter what. I know there will be days when I fall down, but the key is to pick yourself back up and push on smiling.

Success is failure turned inside out. Success is 99% failure.

So when you are going through hell, never quit, never give up or give in. Remind yourself why your started in the first place, where you are going and how you will feel when your reach your finish line.

Creating powerful emotions in your mind about how you’ll feel when you reach your destination can be the most powerful ingredient and weapon you will ever need to possess. And you can turn those emotions on at Will. All it take is your imagination, belief and focus power.

Good morning from beautiful

The benefits of hot / cold water exposure and with exercised breathing are definitely being felt by me right now.

The sense of energy inside, clarity of mind helps the mind feel more disciplined to do those daily habits that make health a No.1 priority.

And when we are health conscious, we tend to repeat and grow more healthy habits.

Sometimes the hardest this is where to start.

The number One golden rule of being healthy, is start small and work on one key healthy habit and work daily to make sure that one health habit is done without fail, with excuses and with real intention.

Within 3 or more weeks, that daily habit becomes nature, habitual and normal to your daily routine.

And one great healthy habit leads the conscious mind to wanting to expand to more healthy habits.

As used to say, “each discipline affects the rest and every discipline matters”.

Start today on 1 health conscious habit and practice it daily for 30 days and see where you are and feel at the end.

My planned morning rituals for the next month; in a following by 500ml of celery juice (including ginger and apple juice).

I managed 15 mins this morning, only thought I’d cope with 2-3mins, but after 2 mins the uncomfortableness subsides and the focus is one to be calm and relaxed.

I did do 5 rounds of Wim hof breathing beforehand, which is something I’ve been doing for a while now.

By the end my heart rates was really dropping and I was feeling real inner quietness and peace.

Body is buzzing now and you can feel the energy flowing throughout the mind and body.

Until tomorrow’s 🥶🥶🥶 experience.

Time to buy some ice to get the temp down even more.

I’ll keep you posted how it’s going 🙌🙏🧘‍♂️😀
