How Can I Help with Your Lower Back Pain?

Lower back pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide, affecting an estimated 619 million people. It’s a common issue - but that doesn’t mean it has to be something you simply live with.

While social media may promise a “magic” set of exercises for instant relief, the reality is that back pain is complex and varies greatly from person to person. There’s no one size fits all solution.

What we do know is that movement plays a key role in recovery. The old advice of bed rest is outdated - gentle activity can help mobilise tissues, reduce stiffness, and calm the nervous system.

Simple strategies like over the counter pain relief, heat or ice therapy, and light movement can help manage symptoms. But to truly address the root cause, a thorough Physiotherapy assessment is recommended.

How Can Acupuncture Help You?

Acupuncture is a highly effective treatment rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, involving the insertion of fine needles into specific points of the body to help reduce inflammation and manage pain.

As a Physiotherapist, I use acupuncture to support a range of musculoskeletal conditions such as muscle strains, osteoarthritis, back pain and headaches. In addition to physical concerns, certain acupuncture points may also help promote relaxation, improve sleep quality, and reduce anxiety.

Treatment is generally pain-free and many patients notice positive results within just a few sessions. As with all my services, a detailed assessment is carried out beforehand to ensure acupuncture is safe and appropriate for your individual needs.

I’m so excited to finally share my new logo and branding!

I’ve been working with the amazing Ami Bell to create something truly unique in a crowded industry—something that captures my vision and stands out.

As a Physiotherapist, my goal is not just to treat injuries but to educate and empower. I want to help you become stronger, fitter, and faster than before—so that you don’t just recover, but soar beyond recovery.

Ami suggested incorporating a bird into the logo to symbolise this vision, and I absolutely love the result. It perfectly reflects my mission to help each of my patients rise above their challenges—and I hope it resonates with you too!
