Following the success of our last event, we’re delighted to share that Corby Town Council has awarded us funding to offer another nurturing wellbeing weekend in our cosy cottage in Corby Old Village 💚

If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or in need of time to slow down and reset, this weekend is lovingly designed to help you relax, restore, and reconnect.

Weekend Wellbeing & Empowerment Event – A Beautiful Success!

What an incredible weekend of healing, connection and empowerment at our wellbeing event. From ages 11 to 65, our guests came together to breathe, relax, reset and experience a peaceful space just for them.

The atmosphere over both days was filled with warmth, courage and support. It was truly moving to watch everyone open up, try new experiences, and leave feeling calmer, lighter and more inspired. The feedback, the smiles, the moments of release and the sense of community created something beautiful.

We are deeply grateful to the Northamptonshire Community Foundation and the David Laing Foundation for making this transformative weekend possible. Their support allowed us to create a safe, nurturing environment where people could reconnect with themselves and experience holistic wellbeing in a meaningful way.

Seeing guests walk away feeling empowered, more grounded and more hopeful reminds us why we do this work. This weekend has inspired us even more to continue offering accessible wellbeing opportunities to our community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered and shared in this beautiful experience. You made the weekend what it was.

Here’s to more healing, more empowerment, and more moments of peace for all!

Our local veteran John—a talented chef and proud small business owner—gathered some beautiful leeks, tomatoes, beetroot, and a fresh tarragon from our Serenity Garden.

He’s taken them back to his kitchen to work his magic, and we can’t wait to see what delicious creation he comes up with!

John also runs his own Natto business (Nattok2.co.uk) bringing this healthy, protein-rich fermented food to our community—proof that good food really can be both nutritious and delicious.

We love seeing our veterans turning the fruits (and veggies!) of the Serenity Garden into something inspiring.

A Huge Thank You to the RS Group Communications Team! Diane, Robbie, Beth, Claire, Rebecca, Sarah, Kevin, Joe and Natalie !

On Friday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the amazing RS Group Communications Team to spend their Volunteering Day with us here at RCW Veterans.

In just one day, they completely transformed our little business — helping us refresh our website, redesigned our logo, strengthen our social media presence, and shape new PR strategies to share our mission with even more people across Northamptonshire.

Their creativity, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm blew us away. It’s heartwarming to see a corporate team using their skills to support community wellbeing projects like ours — helping us grow, reach more people in need, and spread the message that healing and hope are for everyone, not just veterans.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the RS team for your kindness, hard work, and belief in what we do.

You’ve made a real difference — and we can’t wait to show everyone what’s next!
