πŸ§¬πŸ’‰ Do Genetics Affect the Way GLP-1 Medications Work for You?

Not everyone responds to GLP-1 therapies in the same way and your genetic profile may play a role. Clinical research suggests variations in genes linked to appetite regulation, insulin signalling, and metabolism can influence how effectively medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide work. πŸ“ŠπŸ§

This is where precision medicine comes in tailoring treatment based on individual biology, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

About Quin

Quin is a mobile medical app that aims to help people with diabetes decide how much insulin to take and when. Quin is unique because it takes into consideration multiple factors that affect blood glucose levels beyond just insulin and food. It also provides you with a better understanding of what’s likely to happen in the near future as opposed to just keeping a record of the past, like most diabetes apps. 🌱 Our story began in 2014 with Cyndi Williams when she found out her mentee lived with diabetes. After running in-depth research for 2 years, she decided to recruit a team that would build a mobile medical app. Since then, Cyndi and her proven team of 14 has been driven by the goal of turning human experience into science to give power to people living with chronic conditions, starting with diabetes. Today we are proud and feel privileged to launch our very first mobile medical app to support people that take insulin in their diabetes decisions. We use science, engineering and design to help people who take insulin make the best possible diabetes decisions. We have put some of the best talents on the market in the service of this condition. We’re contributing to the ecosystem by adding novel ideas that we hope will redefine the diabetes management experience through a more holistic approach. All of this while being excellent, seeking truth and showing love to each other and our users.
