Last week at our Adult & Child Roots & Wings Journey, we started with our cotton wool bonding activity for breathwork 🫁 We explored yoga poses together to build the foundation of our yoga flow we are creating together over the 4 weeks 🧘‍♀️ We read a self-compassion story to explore why it is important to talk kindly, not just to others, but also to ourselves 📖 And made positive orgami tellers to continue saying positive words outside of the studio ❤️

This week we will continue to learn new poses to add to our yoga flow and chat about worries with the big bag of worries 🎒 Our activity will reassure children of the benefit of letting our adult know when we are worried 😟

Today in my afterschool visit with Regent House School Preparatory Department, we played some games today for our breathwork 🫁 Had fun with storytelling yoga with Llamaste 📖🦙We had a sharing circle to chat about times we have felt a range of emotions, from happy to shy, scared to cross 😊😕😡 And then we finished off with matching lego colours, to the range of emotions, and creating our own animals with just 6 bricks 🧱 Pictured below is one of the creations, with a lovely yellow sun 🌞
