Feeling so grateful to be featured in an interview with .catt where I shared more about the ethos behind Gentle Roots.

‘I’ve chosen to focus on function and skin health rather than chasing strong synthetic fragrances or essential heavy oil formulations that might smell nice but do more harm than good, especially when used on children.’

This has always been at the heart of why I create — simple, effective, non-toxic care.

I also opened up about how ‘my decisions not to fragrance most of my products can be hard to market to a public that is used to polished, perfumed skincare, but that would go against my goal of creating non-toxic products… however from feedback it seems more consumers are reading labels and seeing through the fluff so hopefully the landscape is shifting.’
