My socials are going to pots as I am busy chasing my dreams 🙈 sorry I will resume soon, kind of happened that I have became a swimmer who is now a part of a relay team to be swimming the North Channel (Northern Ireland to Scotland) this summer, training has been pretty full on from early starts at the pool and open water training any other day I can, anyway if you’d like to read our story and support us see link below! 🙏🏻

‘Breath is the foundation of life, sustaining every cell and function of the body. The combination of breathing and movement is particularly helpful in aging. When you link up diaphragmatic breathing with slow, gentle movements, you have a very healthful combination.’ - Conscious Breathing by Gay Hendricks

Yes, certain foods can worsen prolapse symptoms by contributing to constipation or straining during bowel movements, which increases pressure on the pelvic floor. Some dietary factors to consider include:
1. Low-fiber foods: Diets lacking in fiber can lead to constipation, which can exacerbate prolapse symptoms. Aim for a diet high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes.
2. Processed and refined foods: These can be low in fiber and high in sugar and fat, contributing to constipation.
3. Caffeine and alcohol: These can lead to dehydration, which can worsen constipation and straining.
4. Spicy and acidic foods: For some people, these can irritate the bladder or digestive system, potentially worsening symptoms.
5. Dairy products: In some individuals, excessive dairy can lead to constipation.

Maintaining a healthy diet rich in fiber, staying well-hydrated, and avoiding foods that trigger symptoms can help manage prolapse more effectively. It’s always a good idea to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized dietary advice.
