How do i choose an SPF??
We are all feeling the heat at the moment. Not wanting to wish it away, but we can do simple things to minimise our risk whilst out in it without getting overwhelmed by skin brands.
- choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen that will protect you from UVA and UVB.
-SPF of 30 is best everyday, consider higher when outside for prolonged periods.
-Chemical or mineral? Choose a sunscreen that offers good protection firstly, chemical offers higher protection due to its ability to deflect rays.
-Aply at least 15 minutes prior to exposure and EVERY 2 HOURS after that!
-It is said you will use approx 7 teaspoons to cover the average adult body!
It is highly likely that most injectable facial treatments will haver been cancelled or delayed due to this hot weather. This is unfortunate, BUT when done in the right environment and with the correct after care its worth it and your treatments will last longer!
So make the most of the sun and don't forget your hat!
