Our Story - Crawley Dental Clinic

It’s been 66 years since Crawley Dental Clinic had first opened its doors and has seen two previous owners before Matt Botha, the current principal dentist and director. Having qualified as a dentist from the well reputed University of Pretoria (South Africa) and having gathered a wealth of experience while working as an associate in Danbury (Essex), Matt decided to take Crawley Dental forward. He brings with him a strong dental background, fresh ideas and a single minded focus on providing a full spectrum of treatments, carried out with the utmost care and provided at the most affordable rates.

OUR GOALS

Our goal as a clinic is to carry out the maximum possible treatments in-house, so that we can provide the best possible care and in turn, help our patients feel at ease. In the very unlikely case that we’re not able to provide an option, we work with other specialist practices where we can refer a patient safely while ensuring that they receive the highest possible standard of care.

We do understand that there are few things worse than seeing new and unfamiliar faces every time you take a trip to the dentist. Thus, another goal we constantly work towards is to provide a highly qualified, stable dental team that will work at the clinic with a mutual lookout for the future long term goals. We are proud of the fact that most of our staff have been with the practice for many years now and continue to build great relationships with our patients.

OUR STAFF

Since Mr. Botha has taken charge of this practice, he has implemented a professional and friendly work culture which helps the members of the staff feel comfortable and enjoy their time working here. The emphasis on this work environment is why, as a team, we are always happy and willing to take the extra steps to bring you the best care.

We believe that it is our duty as clinicians to ensure that we constantly update our skills to provide all the modern treatment options and the highest level of care possible. All our practitioners are adept with the latest developments and technology in dental science and the extra effort they put in enables our patients to trust us, feel comfortable and know that we have their best interest at heart.

CRAWLEY DENTAL CLINIC TODAY

At Crawley Dental Clinic, all of us work hard to achieve our goals and meet the vision we have set out towards, together. Due to this hard work a few examples of our achievements are:

1. We are one of the very few surgeries in the area that has a Pan-oral x-ray machine and 3D CT scanner.

2. We are known to provide dental implants of the highest quality.

3. We are one of the selected few practices to provide a minor oral surgery service as well as a complex restorative service for the NHS, where other practices in the area refer their patients to us for complex extractions and other minor oral surgical procedures. We provide similar services for their private patients as well.

4. We recently did a major refurbishment. This hugely improved the facilities and provide pleasant surroundings for our patients and staff, for example:

a. Disabled access to all the surgeries and a disabled toilet

b. A new oral health promotion room

c. We provide the gold standard in cross infection control

d. A spacious, modern waiting area away from the clinical rooms

Every so often we have to make changes to improve the practice, because without these challenges, a dental practice doesn’t really move forward. The latest example was the major refurbishment. We always aim to grow and strive much higher. As a result, we have built and continue to build a family of dedicated and skilled practitioners and trusting patients. We truly care for this family and are pretty much ready for any challenges that can come along on the way ahead.
