Can we PLEASE STOP 👏🏼 HATING 👏🏼 OURSELVES 👏🏼 IN 👏🏼2026 👏🏼
Deprivation does not work long term - we all know it doesn’tX it’s why you’re always restarting a diet.
Change the focus but get specific- “eat healthy” doesn’t even make sense- stop using it as a goal.
Here’s 3 doable alternatives that don’t suck:

1. Eat an extra portion of fruit or veg every day
2. Look at your schedule and work out what it night help to have a meal prepared - prep that meal.
3. Eat enough! Absolutely NO SKIPPING MEALS.

You can do all those things today and they won’t ruin your life- you’re welcome 🤣💗

For years, I fell into the “fresh start” trap—thinking that if I had a “bad” meal, I might as well wait until Monday, next month, or even the new year to get back on track.

But here’s the truth: you don’t need a perfect Monday to make progress. You don’t need to wait until tomorrow, or after a holiday, or when life feels less hectic.

👉 Your next meal is your next opportunity. No guilt, no punishment—just a small step in the right direction.

This shift changed everything for me and my clients. Instead of starting over, we just keep going. And that’s how real, sustainable change happens.

💬 Have you ever felt stuck in the “start fresh” mindset? Let me know in the comments!

Most diets only result in short term changes because they don’t really teach us anything or help us build sustainable habits - worse still, often they completely cut out our favourite foods so that we feel like a failure WHEN (because it is when and not if) we eat them again.
Currently putting together a mini course on this to help with sustainable change, watch this space! 💗

If there was a way of eating that worked for everyone, we wouldn’t need nutritionists or Dietitians.
It can be really difficult to know what approach to take, so if you’re unsure always reach out to a professional. Especially if you’re struggling with any kind of disordered eating or with your relationship with food. 💖

✨My monthly post✨ 🥲
Is everyone else done with winter already too or is it just me? 🥶
Little update - I’m currently diving into a CBT practitioner course & I’m so excited to be able to use this to help people address any issues around food and emotions! I’ve been a patient and I found it super helpful- I’d actually forgotten how helpful, so I’ve been using the techniques myself too and I can already feel a difference!
As always - ill aim to post more 😭 my DMs are open always 💕

Eating as little as possible and still trying to engage in a sport or any kind of regular physical activity is something that’s much more common than you might think. This can be done on purpose or by accident, maybe you nuts haven’t put much thought into your nutrition or maybe you’re trying to lose weight and restricting yourself on purpose.
Under eating is never good news, but potentially more dangerous more quickly if you’re also very active.
Be careful out there and pop me a message if you have any questions 🤗

Going from no exercise to “I’m going to train at the gym 5 days a week” so rarely works - even if you USED to train 5 days a week, even if you enjoy it.
If you’re finding it hard to commit, always remind yourself that anything more you do than yesterday, is an improvement and a step in the direction you’re trying to go.
This tip has worked really well for me previously - I usually find after a few days I’m already far more motivated, but always go at your own speed. It’s not a race. Building habits take time. 💜

I think the way our whole society is set up is really not supportive of good mental health, and while that’s an entire rant I could go on, it’s probably more helpful to post anything that might help 😅 fibre is not a magical cure by any means, but it really can help.
Pop me a message if you need any tips including more fibre in your diet or if you have any question’s 💛

Tracking calories just isn’t healthy for everyone long term 🤷🏼‍♀️ and it can be REALLY hard to stop because usually - well, it works for weight loss! But if this sounds like you, chances are, it’s no longer good for your mental health and it might be time to think about taking a step back.

There is space for ALL food in your diet, but if you’re anything like me, you’ll really start to feel rubbish when you’re not eating a balanced diet most of the time. I’ve noticed it makes my anxiety SO much worse!
Let me know in the comments if you’ve found the same or if you have any questions!
