Call 999 for an ambulance or go to your nearest A&E immediately if you think you or someone you look after could have meningitis or sepsis.

Ramadan Mubarak to all observing 🌙

As we begin the holy month of Ramadan, we would like to offer our best wishes to our patients, staff and our wider community.

For individuals living with diabetes, fasting can present specific health risks, including changes in blood glucose levels. Diabetes UK provides clear, evidence‑based guidance to support people in making informed decisions about fasting and how to do so safely where appropriate. You can access their detailed advice on their website:

We wish all who are observing a peaceful and healthy Ramadan.

To help our clinicians spend more time talking with you and less time typing, we are now using a new NHS‑approved tool called Scribe during some appointments.

🗣️ What is Scribe?
Scribe helps your clinician by turning parts of your conversation into written notes.
It does NOT record your voice - it simply creates text that your clinician checks before adding to your medical record.

💬 You are always in control
If you’d prefer not to use it, just tell us - that’s absolutely fine.

🔒 Your privacy comes first
No audio is saved, and all information remains securely within NHS‑approved systems.
Scribe is simply a digital note‑taking tool designed to
✔️ improve accuracy
✔️ reduce admin time
✔️ help clinicians focus fully on you

If you have any questions, please see the FAQ’s on our website: www.langleycornersurgery.nhs.uk/policies/scribe/

Did you know, you can order a repeat prescription even when your GP surgery is closed over the weekend?

While it's on your mind, just tap the NHS App, and get it off your to-do list.

There has been an accident at Tushmore Roundabout (with the traffic lights), causing significant delays in the area.

Please leave extra time for your journey and take an alternative route to avoid being late for your appointment. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
