Been rather quiet for a while due to mental health reasons but trying to get back into it. Had a go at a new buttercream recipe (Swiss meringue buttercream with white chocolate), which I think has given a much smoother texture than the usual buttercream

Had a lovely day at Cake International, NEC, Birmingham, my highlight was meeting Zoe of Zoe's Fancy Cakes who is a so amazingly talented and has been the inspiration and guide to a number of cakes I have done in the past.
Lovely day out with my mum aswell, doing two days next time I reckon.

Making cake in school holidays is certainly entertaining. I think I might have given myself too much to do in order to entertain two energy bombs but we got it done. I’m ready for a rest after the weekend 😴
