I’m enjoying a couple of days away from the practice this Easter break, taking the family on a slightly nostalgic trip back to my roots in the north east of England.

Today was a lovely day spent at Alnwick Garden, with the cherry blossom in full bloom 🌸

It really makes you stop and think how lucky we are to have our sight — to take in all the colour, detail and beauty around us, especially moments like this that don’t last forever.

We often take our vision for granted, but days like today are a gentle reminder not to.

Autumn has been a busy time for us here in practice and unfortunately that's meant we've been a little quiet on social media. Juggling it all can be a challenge at times, but we are so grateful for all of your support and we have lots of exciting updates to bring you over the coming weeks.

💫 Silmo Paris 💫

Last month I travelled to Paris to visit one of the largest eyewear trade shows in the world. You may wonder why I travelled all the way to Paris to choose stock for the practice? And while one hardly needs a reason to visit Paris, for me, Silmo is more than a buying trip. It’s my chance to meet independent designers, see their latest collections and carefully choose the frames that will make their way to our shelves. New drops have already started to arrive - pictures to follow!

💫 Practice Refresh 💫

This year we will be taking full advantage of the quieter Christmas and New Year period to refurb some of the practice decor and display. We can't say too much at this stage, but we are very excited to see the plan come together. Keep an eye on our stories nearer the time as we share little updates.

We launched our end of season sunglasses promotion at the start of November and so far it has been a real hit!
