We’re incredibly proud of Paul, a highly valued member of our team at Foxs, who stepped out this week for the first time in his volunteer role as a RAFA Standard Bearer.

As a veteran, Paul continues to show outstanding dedication and service to others. We’re honoured to have him on our team and to support him in such an important and meaningful role.

Some of the team from Foxs were delighted to attend the Lighthouse Players’ production of Cinderella this afternoon — and what a fantastic show it was!

We all thoroughly enjoyed the performance, from the laughs to the wonderful pantomime magic throughout. A very special mention must go to Leigh’s wife, Cath, who made an absolutely wonderful Cinderella. She truly shone in the role!

Congratulations to everyone involved for putting on such a brilliant production. We hope the event has raised plenty of money for the Lighthouse Soft Play Project and Prostate Cancer UK — two incredibly worthwhile causes.

It was an absolute honour to undertake the funeral arrangements for the late Dave Cornell of Poppyland Spirits.

With the kind permission of Dave’s wife, Mandy, we are proud to share how we honoured a truly well respected, loving, kind, humorous and supportive man who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In true Dave style, and reflecting his love of motorbikes, he made his final journey in a Harley-Davidson hearse from Motorcycle Funerals Ltd. Andy was honoured to ride the hearse, while Mandy travelled as pillion — a deeply personal and touching tribute. Leading the way was Jerry, also riding a Harley-Davidson, guiding Dave on his final journey.

Dave’s personality shone through in every detail. A pair of his favourite Converse trainers rested proudly on top of his coffin, and in tribute to his beloved QPR Football Club, blue and white ribbons adorned the handles.

A truly fitting farewell for a remarkable man. Ride free, Dave.

A huge thank you to our amazing community for supporting our North Norfolk Foodbank collection 💛.

In the lead up to Christmas, we donated 38kgs of essential items and were so grateful to receive a lovely thank you from the Foodbank.

Our donation box was emptied again last week and we are on a mission to fill up again.

Your kindness is making a real difference locally — thank you for helping us we truly appreciate it.

💔 Foxs Funeral Services are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of John Virgo.

John Virgo was not only a celebrated snooker player — winning the UK Championship in 1979 — but also a beloved broadcaster and commentator whose voice became synonymous with the sport for generations. He was a familiar presence on BBC snooker coverage and endeared himself to millions with his passion, humour and iconic catchphrase “Where’s the cue ball going?”
Many will also remember him as co-host of the popular BBC show Big Break, where his warm personality and trick-shot demonstrations brought joy to audiences across the UK.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with his family, friends, and all who loved and admired him during this sad time. 🕊️

Fox’s Funeral Services is proud to support this lovely production of Cinderella at Lighthouse Community Church, Sheringham 👠✨.
Events like this are a great way to bring the community together while raising funds for such worthwhile causes, including the Lighthouse Soft Play Project and Prostate Cancer UK.
It would be wonderful to see as many people as possible come along and support this fantastic local event. We hope everyone involved has a truly magical performance!

This week I attended a powerful and informative seminar delivered by PAPYRUS. At Fox’s Funeral Services, we are passionate about exploring how we can support this much-needed charity and the vital work they do in prevention of young su***de.
