A huge thank you to Lowri Bourne and Gemma O’Brien from Redkite Law for the kind invitation today and for being such wonderful hosts at an inspiring 2Wish event celebrating International Women’s Day and raising funds for this truly incredible charity.

It was a privilege to hear from some phenomenal women whose stories were powerful, uplifting and unforgettable.

Rhian Mannings MBE, founder and CEO of 2Wish, spoke with incredible strength, hope and inspiration about the charity’s mission to support families affected by the sudden death of a child or young person. Her work continues to change lives across Wales and beyond.

We were also inspired by Becky Wilde, Olympic bronze medallist in rowing, whose quote of the day perfectly captured the mindset behind success:
“Practice makes performance.”

And finally, Justine Jones had the room in fits of laughter with her brilliant Valley stories — a wonderful reminder of the power of humour, connection and shared experiences.

Special recognition must also go to Marie Claire Carey-Jones, who stepped in as the consummate host with only 24 hours’ notice — absolutely amazing.

Today was a powerful example of women from all walks of life coming together to support each other and to raise vital funds for an extraordinary cause.

This year’s International Women’s Day 2026 theme — “Give to Gain” — felt particularly fitting. When we give our time, support and energy to others, we gain stronger communities, deeper connections and meaningful impact.

An incredible day for an incredible charity. 💜

💜 Rare Disease Day 2026 – Equinox Physiotherapy

Today, Equinox Physiotherapy is proud to support Rare Disease Day 2026.

We are incredibly privileged to work alongside amazing children like Mabli and Liwsi, and their wonderful mums, Gwenno and Zoe.

Mabli and Liwsi show us every week what strength, determination and joy truly look like. Their progress isn’t just measured in physical milestones — it’s seen in confidence, participation, laughter, and connection.

Rare conditions can bring complex challenges.
But they also bring fierce love, resilience, and powerful community.

At Equinox, our focus is always:

✨ Supporting meaningful participation
✨ Empowering families
✨ Celebrating every achievement — big and small

Rare should never mean invisible.

Today we stand with Mabli, Liwsi, their families, and the entire rare disease community — raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and advocating for accessible, child-centred care.

Team Equinox have been busy on the slopes enabling the Ski Bears Samoëns 2026 trip. Committing 10 members of our team is a huge challenge but one we proudly juggle to make sure these trips offer the skiers & their families the best possible experience with memories for a lifetime.

We want to thank our team for volunteering all your hard work during the months of planning, training and delivery of such a successful trip. Providing a seamless experience and raising the bar of adaptive skiing takes a skill set only this dream team of professionals continue to provide year on year.

Looking forward to even bigger and better things next year.

This means smarter therapy, better outcomes, and more possibilities for recovery.
