Beacon Lifesaving Club

Beacon Lifesaving Club Beacon Lifesaving Club is a fun & friendly club that offers all ages the chance to learn first aid skills both in water on land. Come and give it a go!!

We work from the Rookie lifeguard scheme which is explained in more detail on the RLSS website and on 'awards'. From there, swimmers can lead on to more competitive lifesaving with the chance to complete their Bronze Medallion and enter county competitions. There is a chance to train with us over 3 evenings a week with all of our teachers having the necessary qualifications to take you through th

e awards. This will be a great opportunity for swimmers to learn life skills on how to save other peoples lives and more importantly if needed, how to save their own. If you would like more infomation, please dont hesitate in contacting us.

🥇 GOLD for Team England! 🥇

The wet SERC is always fiercely contested, but our England Development Team rose to the challenge and successfully defended their title from two years ago – claiming the top spot once again! Beacon’s Henry played a key part in both the team gold from Canada in 2023 and this year 💪

🥇Double Commonwealth Champions🥇

To top it all off, Team England made history by finishing first in both the National and Development categories – a feat that’s never been done before! 🔥🙌

The Closing Ceremony featured a beautiful performance by a Welsh choir, marking the perfect end to a truly unforgettable Games.

👏 Massive congratulations to all our athletes, coaches, supporters, and volunteers – your hard work made this a Games to remember! ❤️

Ben, Ben, Henry and Isla all smashed it and did the club proud. Having four members representing England was brilliant and a testament to all the hard work! 👏👏👏 Thanks also to coach Ben for supporting our athletes all week, and in challenging conditions 🥵 👏👏👏
