A special thank you to the parliamentarians who hosted and championed this important discussion, including Michael Payne MP, David Mundell MP, and Lord Collins. Your leadership is vital in advancing equitable access to HIV prevention and treatment.

🌍 The rules for the next pandemic response are being negotiated right now.

The WHO Pandemic Agreement was adopted in 2025—but it cannot move forward until the Pathogen Access and Benefit-Sharing (PABS) Annex is finalized.

Through our campaign EU: Stop Blocking Health Equity, we are calling on European leaders to support binding equity provisions so that vaccines, diagnostics, and treatments are shared fairly in future global health emergencies.

What is decided now will shape pandemic response for a generation.
We thank , , and in Europe, along with , , , , , , and many Global South partners for pushing for binding equity rules.

Today, AHF‑UK honours women everywhere who continue to push for fairness, dignity and equal rights.
We celebrate the diversity of womanhood — including straight women, le***an and bi women, trans women, q***r women, and non‑binary people who identify with womanhood — and recognise the power, care and leadership they bring to our communities every day.
Real progress has never happened by chance. It has come because women have spoken up, organised, and insisted on being respected and treated equally.
On International Women’s Day, we stand in solidarity and recommit ourselves to equality for all.

Beautiful to see the power of community.

Beautiful to see the power of community.

When we show up together, we’re impossible to ignore. 💪

Scenes like this Pride celebration from AHF Peru remind us that acceptance and equality are winning, from Lima to Los Angeles. AHF is proud to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community here and around the world.

We’re delighted to have been recognised with a community partnership badge — a meaningful reminder of the progress made and the importance of marking moments like this.
A huge thank you to Croydon Pride, an outstanding partner whose support makes a real difference. We’re proud to continue working together and to keep moving forward with positivity and purpose. ❤️

A drug that could end HIV transmission should belong to humanity 🌍, not a single corporation.

Lenacapavir can change the future. But Gilead Sciences’s pricing and restricted licensing keep it out of reach for the people who need it most.

Today we’re in London 🇬🇧 demanding what should already be the standard:
✅ Fair pricing
✅ Transparent licensing
✅ Real global access

Breakthroughs don’t matter if people can’t access them.

Special guest speaker: Bisi Alimi

Celebrate LGBT+ History Month with us on Saturday 28 February with very special guest speaker Bisi Alimi. Bisi will share his experiences as an openly gay, HIV-positive Nigerian, discussing LGBTQ+ rights, history, inclusion, and creating safe, prejudice-free spaces, drawing on his activism and global advocacy work.

When: Saturday 28 February
Time: 16:15-16:45
Where: The Event Rooms, 3-7 Middle Street, Croydon, CR0 1RE
Tickets: Free and available on Eventbrite - link in bio
Bonus: Free snacks and drinks!

About Bisi: Bisi Alimi is a human rights activist, speaker, and writer dedicated to advancing LGBTQ+ rights and equality. As the first openly gay man on Nigerian national television, he faced discrimination and exile, which shaped his commitment to fighting for marginalized communities.

He has spoken at the United Nations, founded the Bisi Alimi Foundation, and contributed to global media like BBC and CNN. His work focuses on creating inclusive, safe spaces for all, driven by his lived experiences as an openly gay, HIV-positive Nigerian. He brings passion, expertise, and a unique perspective to advocacy, striving for a world free from prejudice and discrimination. He is currently the Executive Director for Wiki LGBT+ global.

This event is made possible thanks to grant funding from Croydon Council – huge thanks for supporting Croydon’s LGBTQIA+ community!

AHF‑UK stands with our community partners — ACT UP London, National AIDS Trust, BHIVA, UK‑CAB, HIV i‑Base, and allies across the UK — demanding immediate access to lenacapavir, a lifesaving HIV treatment people urgently need.
Our mission is to strengthen the UK’s HIV response, expand testing and care, and ensure no one is left behind. Delays to lenacapavir are putting lives at risk — especially for those with no other treatment options.
Scotland provides it. England must too.
Lives cannot wait.
We’re calling on everyone who believes in health justice to join us.
Be there tomorrow, 4:30–6pm, outside NHS England (Wellington House, SE1).
Bring your voice. Bring your solidarity. Help us demand action.
NHS England: Commission Lenacapavir Now.
