This makes so much sense now… and totally explains why I find myself sitting in my car, on my drive, scrolling and procrastinating before reentering my home. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Since watching this not only have I accepted this natural and necessary process, ❤️‍🩹 I been playing with a healthier way of locking through, that doesn’t involve the phone and more overwhelm. Instead I have turned to the magic of the breath ✨- experimenting with the 6:6 breath, mindful hand breathing or just elongated breath…. I can definitely say whatever metaphorical waters await me a home, whether stormy or clam my boat (aka my emotional energy), has definitely felt more steady and stable! 🌊⚓️💖

Mum & Baby Yoga is a specially devised series of stretches and movements for babies, gentle yoga for parents and shared yoga poses to calm and energise. There is an emphasis on yoga postures that open up areas of the body that can be tight after holding, carrying and nursing babies. Babies enjoy poses that aid their development and digestion, with plenty of rhymes and songs.

Baby yoga classes are a sacred space for you to reconnect to your body and spend quality time with baby. A fun and joyful class where you can de-stress, and enjoy the support and friendship of other new mums.

✅ Suitable for parents with babies from 8-weeks to 12-months old.

This is one of my favourite affirmations also from our Autumn classes —a simple sentence with so many layers of meaning.

It might mean celebrating our own unique self, or having the courage to be our true authentic selves, even in times of fear or uncertainty. It could be a hopeful, positive reminder that it's never completely dark or bleak—we have our own energy and wisdom which we can trust to guide us. Or perhaps it holds a comforting spiritual meaning, speaking to a brightness within us linked to faith or a higher power that resides within and shines a light of support.

These warm, friendly and inclusive classes are designed to build strength, balance and flexibility – both inside and out! 💖 It's a wonderful way to meet new friends and maintain a positive self-care habit throughout autumn.🍂

🌸Classes also include valuable breathwork and relaxation to help you destress, find calm and reduce inflammation. Beginners and those returning to yoga are very welcome! All equipment provided.

🧘🏻‍♀️What: A gentle restorative yoga practice to ease tension in mind and body, with a special focus on releasing lower back, hips and shoulders. Followed by a chat over tea and homemade treats, finished with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra Meditation.

🌸Why: This ‘Self-Care Sunday’ is a chance to nourish ourselves, protect or restore our mental, emotional and physical health, emerging calmer, more patient, grounded and present. It's the antidote to modern day stress!

All set for another uplifting and joy filled Mum and Baby yoga class today at the Exeter Yoga Workshop. 🙏🧘🏻‍♀️

Such a lovely group of mums and the cutest of babies! I love watching the babies stare intently at each other, settle like baby magic to the ohm sound and delight at our singing… not to mention those gummy smiles I get that make me completely forget what I’m doing!!! 🙈💖🥰
