Veterans Tribe Scotland members enjoyed a brilliant tour of Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory in Edinburgh!
joined by friends from SVR’s Whitefoord House. We saw poppy production in action, learned its history, and shared a lovely buffet lunch together.
Thanks to everyone who made it such a great day. Check the photos below, and we’ll be back again soon!

Earlier today, we visited the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews for an aqua fit session followed by a delicious afternoon tea! We had an amazing time and what a great way to recharge and spend a relaxing afternoon together.
A massive thank you to Simon and the team for inviting us back out for another year!

We love our tea tasting events with Sandra! she’s so knowledgeable and makes the whole experience really engaging. ☕️

I don’t think I’ve ever done a post to reintroduce myself on here. But the first day back after a holiday always feels like a fresh start - so here goes.

Hi, I’m Sandra - Tea Experience Host & Speaker.

Based in East Lothian, I run immersive tea tastings that help people slow down, reconnect, and experience tea as something much more than just a drink.

Over the last five years, I’ve hosted events for private gatherings, charity groups, business teams and international travellers.

Each one is different, but they all start with the same idea:

Tea is a journey. A ritual. A way to bring people together.

As a UK Tea Academy-trained host, I design tastings that explore history, tradition, and flavour - with plenty of chances to smell the leaves, sip the tea, listen to stories and chat along the way.

If you’re:

- planning a celebration
- looking for an authentic Scottish experience for visitors
- or curating a unique team or client event

then we might just be a great fit.

I don’t sell tea. I bring it to life.

Follow along, drop me a message, or pop over to chiyaandchai.com to find out more.

We've put together this short video showing what to expect when you come along to a Veterans Tribe event!
But the best way to find out is to come along yourself! 🎨

First time hosting a tea tasting for the Dundee group last week - and hopefully not the last.

Such lovely people.

We shared teas and stories, and enjoyed connecting and chatting together. Lots of questions too which is always the sign of an engaged group.

This feedback from Loraine came in at the weekend and absolutely made my day 💛

If you’re planning a group get-together and want to do something a bit different, I’d love to chat.
